Television Arrow | Ending on Season 8

To be fair it's not the pain of his cut tendons that makes him immobile, it's the fact that you just can't move if your tendons are fecked.

I am not referring to the pain, his muscles are still able to function after being shot multiple times?? Hes not weaken from the blood loss?

Yeah I suppose that's a fair point - it may be best to think of him as a talking zombie.

I can't believe I've just typed that.

TBH, its comic book stuff. Codys' character is basically stuff out of comic books. And im pretty sure they did explain what it was that he fell into, hence why the villain was trying to recreate it for everybody else and why Team Arrow wanted to stop it.

I'm actually enjoying this season - despite this week's episode being a little weak (i actually felt that with all the comic book TV I watched this weak, so it may be just me).

I'm glad Watchdog remained captured - so the episode didn't finish as if nothing had happened (ragman) - I'm hoping the next episode goes into Wild dog's past a little - then we'll get the cliche Wild Dog respecting and listening to Oliver now because he came back and saved his life.

Wild Dog.

Immensely better this season. Agree with @Golden Nugget where i think it will go, but if done right, it can be enjoyable.
Still not a fan of the flashbacks and how it is just a copy of whats happening in present day but at least this week it served as a purpose / had an end-game kinda. Do wish it was more s2 like though (think that was the peak of flashbacks).

RagMan is still cool.

Another fun episode. Spending time on Rene was a good move (and its nice to have Diggle back and with a better helmet now).
I liked the Church arc but its nice to see Prometheus come to the front now.
Also never watched Human Target but it was nice to see him on this. Still hoping we see Constantine make another cameo (whether its on Arrow or Legends or one of these DC Shows).

I just hope Prometheus isnt Felicitys new BF. Last thing we need is another reason for her to cry, but at least she wasnt annoying this episode. Her being quirky awkward is the way to go

I'm really liking this season, think it has been better than the Flash so far. Like the new team and really liked the Church arc - having Prometheus kill Church off was a good move to set things up - hope they can keep this up!

Never even heard of the Human Target - had no idea it was a show

Yeah, we just need an ep dedicated to Artemis now. Shes the only one that we really havent seen much of (well cept that one episode last season)

Absolutely. Still a good ep tho, and @Sylar got his wish for more Artemis.

Yeah was a nice step in terms of her progression. It wouldbe nice if they cut back on the team being upset with Ollie then forgiving him. Just want to see more of their background or explore why they are being vigilantes. We got that from Ragman and somewhat from Curtis. Is Artemis doing it cos her parents died? Kinda confused about that.

Anyway, good stuff. Quentin defo a red herring. Assuming it will be Felicity bf, but would be kinda a nice twist if it was somebody from s1 especially as the list has been mentioned.

Also Dolph is the flashback villain, awesome! I was a little worried that they would show Ollie making a bomb in the flashback, then wham, he uses one in the present day to save the day. Glad they didnt do that.
Also like how Prometheus is fairly cold and just gets stuff done.

Also 2 and a half weeks until the 4 episode crossover :D

Assuming it will be Felicity bf,

I misread that as "Felicty tbf" at first, and thought you were predicting one hell of a twist.

Her boyfriend does make sense though. Especially now with the way he was so cool with her working with the Green Arrow - maybe he already knew?

I had a thought on this based on what I saw in Legends of Tomorrow

Wondering if Darkh is Prometheus

Yeah, but the state of him leads me to think he never trained or anything, even in a new timeline.

The thing is anything is possible, with flashpoint. Its applied he doesn't even know what happened to him. He could be Prometheus in the Flashpoint timeline and Alchemy has given him the abilities without him knowing. It could also be Tommy or Roy..

The only way it would work is if it is a split personality deal.

This season worth watching?

Yes, its not groundbreaking stuff, but its been fun and gone back to what it was doing best. Ok, only 6 episodes gone, but huuuuge improvement on last season (and season before).

It is exactly what has made enjoyable for me. The new characters have been good additions so far, specially Wild Dog.

This season is going really well but I still find Felicity is having too much involvement in everything. Every decision Oliver makes she questions and almost throws a bitch fit, its getting tedious now. They need to reduce her role like they did with Thea who was just as annoying with her emotions. One more thing they need to address is the origins of the new recruits nicknames, I mean just randomly they start calling Curtis Mr Terrific and Evelyn Artemis. I mean we would know the characters because of the comics but they still need to go deeper into some of the new recruits background. Its going well at the moment but they could do better.

Wasnt Artemis in a previous season?

But yeah, would love episodes showing flashbacks for those characters. Would be a nice use of the flashback (and to take a break from Oliver flashbacks).

Artemis was in last season, she has a bow, greek godess of the hunt.

They explained the Mr Terrific bit like an episode ago, it's cause of the jacket he was wearing and some old childhood wrestling hero he had. Sure, it's dumb but that's why it's better to gloss over it than go into detail an show exactly how dumb it is.

Wild Dog is cause of the team jersey he's wearing. It's a bit like if you were running around fighting crime in a united t-shirt a your code name being Red Devil. He laments his code name often.

I'm hoping they get a costume upgrade at some point, their disguises are awful.

When Oliver says "Suit Up", Curtis spends about 15 minutes braiding his hair and painting his face...by which point, the rest of them have already left...

At least now we know why Artemis hasn't been give much story, bloody traitor. Got to wonder what the relationship between her and Prometheus is.

Vigilante was pretty cool though.
