Television Arrow | Ending on Season 8

Her acting has actually diminished her attractiveness for me. If anything my dick retreats in a fit of rage.

Iris is more annoying tbh.

But whats better? a dead sister or a sister thats alive but may have crazy mad intentions. From a character point of view, it makes sense. Plus Thea did really start going crazy after Oli left (even if it was building over time). Have no issues with Laurel this season.

I'm really liking Neal Mcdonough this season.

I'm not liking this idea of bringing Sara back. It's so obviously a bad idea, I don't know how even Thea, with her current nuttiness isn't going "hang on just a minute here..."

Plus it might lead to another Laurel vs. Quentin thing which bored me to death last time.

Yeah and how long do you have to be dead before the pit stops working? Sarah's been dead for fecking ages. Surely her corpse have rot by now? I mean, why not just go dig up Ollie's mom as well...fecking hell.

Ps I haven't actually watched the episode yet, so maybe it is explained :nervous:

Well, Laurel not being ridiculously annoying lasted 2 episodes. Still, that's longer than I thought it would.

Didn't Oliver mention he was going to run for mayor last episode? Did he completely forget this week?

I'm still watching season 2 but does Laurel change or am I the only one who would like to see her with Oliver?

I've thought the exact opposite, they've made her not just annoying but a total idiot, the likes of which humanity has never seen before. It's quite impressive how dumb she's been.

I agree that she is a total idiot in the most recent episode, but I didn't mind her in the first 2 eps of the season.

Yep. She has stock cliché lines ready for every muhfecka out there coming at her with logic.

Laurel should just be killed off already.

Anyway decent episode, I'm really liking Darkh as the antagonist.

The best part about Darkh is that he's not in the shadows at all, nor is he built up very mysteriously (at least not compared to Ra's for instance). He faced off against Ollie in the first episode, and his powers and the lack of explanation makes it even better. It's also unclear if he's the big boss, or if he answers to someone else as well.

I like Arrow (well S3 not so much) but I'm finding it harder to watch. I just can't really take most the threats seriously when you have Thea and Laurel with training of like 5/6 months able to stand against multiple foes who are specialists. It's not even like 5/6 months when all they do is train, Laurel is still working with the DA I think, Thea does whatever it is she does. I mean if they can do that, particularly Thea who is so small, then why can't the City hire the special forces etc to come in and boast their ranks to deal with the issue?

Last season after a few months Laurel was able to fight multiple members of the league of assassins, people who were literally training everyday under survival of the fittest. Her training however intense was not against those stakes. Sara was believable, she was on the island and learnt that survivors instinct and she went to training with the League. Diggle is a special forces veteran.

It would be one thing if they had them being more sneak attackers with Diggle, whist Ollie got in the thick of it but as they are it for me makes it hard to take the threat seriously. It is a comic book adaptation so obviously you have to suspend belief but I think there's better ways to do it. With Laurel for me they should have just merged her and Sara as one character who was on the island with Ollie and learnt her skills there as well.

Yeah LOA has been the most disappointing thing about this. And of course Ras (well actually from mid season break onwards). I was expecting them to be badass but theyve disappointed.

Didn't Oliver mention he was going to run for mayor last episode? Did he completely forget this week?

This is what I was going to post. they totally forgot about it, no news mention, no little mention of it by any of the team members. Was bizarre.

Looks like through this and flash, they are building towards the Legends show. Assuming Felicitys phone will lead to Atom coming back.

The flashbacks didnt annoy me either.

Yea having watched this episode, think it might be Lance that dies in 6 months or so.

Also it's nice how they're slowly introducing Atom who's probably sending his dickpicks to Felicity.

I hate the fact that Ray and Roy are leaving/left the show, along with Felicity and Oliver they are the best characters in the show.

Also the fact they use such awful Arabic pronounciation annoys me to no end, I can't understand most of the things they say in Arabic.

Decent episode, great couple of scenes with Oliver and Lance at his apartment, glad they didn't drag out that argument over multiple episodes too.

Constantine on next week's episode! Can't wait.

Laurel is back to being dumb. Great performance by Paul Blakthorne and yeah he's probably the one to die at the end. I thought they'd put Constantine as a stinger but oh well, can't wait.

Laurel has been alright for me, up until brining Sara back. Still, the Canary scream is awful and makes me laugh every time. Not sure how they're going to fix that though!

I just watched the premier, who is in that grave? I'm thinking Thea and also hoping it's not Felicity.

why do they all see horribly photoshopped in those stills ?

People are assuming lance cause he's in bed with Dark and gets found out, he knows way too much at this point anyway, it's kinda dumb to have the head of the police knowing everyones secrets yet doing nothing until he has the biannual hissy fit.

Iris is way more in the background in The Flash though and she isn't trying to be a super hero. I wish they'd stop giving laurel and her dad so much storyline simply because it's basically the same damn one since season 2, your daughter is alive! but not really cause now shes dead again but not really and I kept it a secret.

I watched episode 4 and I still don't see why captain Lance?
Working with Dahrk, slowly starting to work with Oliver again as a form of redemption, etc. I suppose. His character arc throughout the series is nearing its end IMO.

Paul was incredible in this weeks episode, knocked it out of the park. Looking forward to Constantine next week!

Totally agree. His scenes with his daughters and especially with Oliver were brilliant. He was getting annoying but that was the Lance that was good in s1 and s2.

I think Arrow is doing a better job than Flash of progressing the story but also building towards Legends.
