Television Arrested Development

Just finished it. Third season bit of a letdown, didn't much care for the Charlize Theron stuff, but that mole/jetpackman scene had me in stitches.

Can't wait for the fourth season.

:lol::lol:

Just started watching Season 2 of this thing and it's seriously amazing.

Watched the first seven episodes of this. Does it get better?

They're all great, but Tobias especially so. His "phrasings" are amazing.

I know you're the big marriage expert - oh, I'm sorry, I forgot, your wife is dead!

Half way though a re-watch

"Why don't you take plant and wait in the car"

Ann is great, glad they're bringing her back for the new season. Bring on May!

May have to put this on my list of series to watch.

Ok, Lindsay, are you forgetting that I was a professional twice over - an analyst and a therapist. The world's first analrapist.

Everytime

So I thought I would finally get round to watching this and I've got through a season and a half in the past couple of days. It has to be one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Brilliant writing and great performances all round, especially from David Cross.

I hate this thread. I keep thinking it's being bumped for trailers or something, but it's just newbies.

fecking newbies.

This is my favourite Tobias scene.

There are so many more though.

The music in the show is just genius, I get laughs out of it alone, from the Charlie Brown stuff to Oscar's dad hints to Buster to George Snr's religious parts, so good.

On the contrary dear Mockney... this thread being bumped (in times when it's not me doing the bumping...) simply reminds me of AD's existance... and this is never a bad thing.

Yep, I wouldn't have gone and downloaded the show if I didn't see this being bumped.

The zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. Sick of playing second fiddle. Always third in line for everything. Tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel....there are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

It tastes kind of like sad. In the sense that I'm worried that after all this build up it couldn't possibly live up to expectations.

It almost definitely won't if you're expecting it to be as good as the first two seasons. I think most fans will just be really happy/giddy at getting to see these characters again and have some of the classic running gags back, although I hope they're wary of just doing a greatest hits.

Having all the episodes come out at once is interesting. Apparently they're all linked together very intricately like something never done on television before. I'm hopeful that will add some new freshness and innovation.
