Younger than Ramos and Schweinsteiger and people don't seem to have a problem with those moves.

His age is fine. We don't need a player in his position though. Ramos and Schweinsteiger/Schneiderlin are problem positions in the team.
 
Exactly. Turan is a good player, but we already have Mata, Young, Di Maria, Depay and maybe Januzaj for the wing position. In the middle (behind the striker) we have Herrera and Fellaini, Mata and also Rooney can play there. We are stocked. We need CB, RB, CM, DM, ST. Not an offensive midfielder/winger.

If he would be for free, or 10m, we could take a punt on him. But for 30m, when other positins need reinforcements, it would be a luxury buy and a bit of a waste of money.
 
He's not worth the release clause. Atletico might be flexible with his pricing though. Turan is linked with a move away every summer and Simeone has really never been worried about him leaving, the only players he doesn't want to let go are Koke and Godin. Turan has always been up for grabs.
 
I am surprised he wants out, he is a fan favourite (but then almost every Atleti player is a fan favourite), seems to enjoy it there and Simeone and Burgos absolutely love him.
Anyway, if they get around 30 mil € for him they will be happy with that I guess, good player but not someone we need.

Depends on where we'd play him. I'm undecided on whether I'd have him or not.

At the prices being quoted you expect to be buying a nailed on starter but I'm not sure he would be here.

As if it isn't obvious enough from a) the fact that he is a football player and b) he talks about transfer business on Twitter, I'll say one thing about Arda - he's an utter moron.

I wouldn't want him anywhere near United.

It's his agent that said what you are quoting.

But after that Some turkish presenter of a TV station has said that a deal with United is imminent and he's going to have it soon.

Ahh ok. I dont know how reliable he is, but i generally dont trust media from the southern countries. Lets wait and see i guess.

Possibly Ramos, Schneiderlin and Turan this week.

Wouldn't exactly categorize Mata as a winger. Young isn't a great winger either although he did have a great season, it was only great in context of our other players.Januzaj can be one, but he can be a No. 10 as well, which sources say, is his best position.

Di Maria and Depay are our only two proper wingers. If Nani is sold that is...

His agent said the United stuff isn't true.
 
I really can't fathom what we'd do with him, he's not a goal scorer or a big creator from what I've seen, and he's not very fast. He's very good technically and works hard, but I just don't see him adding much at all.
 
I call bullshit. Why would we pay €41m for a player that's on the decline?!
 
Every time I've seen him he seems to have good technique and a fantastic attitude. Think his agent said we were quite close to signing him before as well? Beyond that I know feck all about him.

He's most definitely not slow. And dribblers can get away with not being particularly fast, look at Cazorla he's one of the slowest players yet regularly goes on a mazy run past players with ease.
 
Think he'd be a great signing because he lobbed his boot at a linesman once. About time we cunted our side up. Ramos, Turan, Depay, I like it.

So we sign him. Who exactly is scoring the goals for us, something we lacked severely last season... together with pace.

Will we be counting on his mazy dribbles to get Rooney to score 40? Or are we hoping for a 21 year old with no experience in a top 3 league to get 20?
Nah, feck Turan. Not as if we will sign him either, we aren't idiots.
