Aquilani to Liverpool

Can I just take this opportunity to reiterate that I'd like to bone his fiancee? And I think I can say without putting words in his mouth that Dr. Dwayne concurs.

They make a lovely couple it has to be said...

He said in La Gazetta dello Sport in March last year:

"There are too many foreigners in the country and most of the violence and trouble you see is caused by them.

"I have a few photographs and portraits of Mussolini at home. My uncle gave them to me as a present."

Him and Carragher will get along like they're at a Nuremberg rally.

That's not in the interview on the official site, but he claims Aquilani has won the U21 European Championship, which he hasn't.

I think they've removed it - SkySports was referring to the official site as well, when they published the quote.

Who the fecking hell is Stemmy with 16K posts? Is he DJS in disguise?

Jesus, he played a decent amount in 04/05 but since then each of his seasons has been hapmered by injury - made 63 appearances in all competitions in the last three seasons.

Michael Owen made more appearances than that in the same amount of time, and he only played 3 times on 06/07, which I suppose the scousers won't let stop them from calling him a crock, and ignoring Alberto Hitler's record.

Hmm Stemmy, you have gone a bit stiff, what's going on ya?

I can't remember, was he in the Roma team when we twatted them 7-1 ?

Most probably Aquilani is getting some info on the dippers through his ex-Roma mate Riise.

Let' s hope that he did tell him about house burglaries in Merseyside and all that....

What's your opinion on Eaglearses, Interista?

He's a player I like, he has a lot of potential but the injuries have undermined his career so far, if he's fit he can do well also for Liverpool. He has vision, a cracking shoot from distance and can deliver the odd brilliant assist (I still have in mind the 'rabona' with which he set up Totti and Mancini for scoring vs Ac Milan in 2006/2007). He's basically a box to box midfielder but he's able to play in Xabi Alonso's position, Spalletti sometimes fielded him next to De Rossi in a 4-2-3-1 but then opted for Pizarro. Flaws are he's inconsistent and injury prone and in comparison with Xabi Alonso is not as tough and solid defensively. As for the accusation of fascist sympathies, he's a calm and low profile guy, I don't think he'll make headlines for his off the pitch behaviour.

isnt that from the 2-2 game
it wasnt played at wembley

shit keeping
and lita scored in that game
leroy fecking lita ..

Liverpool FC confirmed this evening that Alberto Aquilani has successfully completed a medical and agreed a five-year contract with the club.
The player will now continue his rehabilitation from an ankle operation under the guidance of Liverpool's medical team and is expected to be fully fit in approximately four to eight weeks' time.

;)

Assuming they dont sign anyone else,

A midfield or Kuyt, Lucas, Mascherano and Riera/Benayoun does not worry me in the slightest.

Yep, that surprised me when I read it, wasn't aware that he was currently out injured, and of course, with this comes the chance of injuries when returning from a long-term injury.

He was world class about 6 hours ago.

There exists this gap when a players reputation is boosted, from when a player is rumoured to join the scousers (when he is first considered world class), to when he actually signs (when everyone realises he isn't actually all that).

Feel free to suggest names for this void.
