We have not scored from open play for hours, lost 7 in 9, barely getting shots on target, and getting outplayed every game. Our players are no Maradona and Cruyff, but they are surely capable of looking like a football team. In everyway you try to look at it, the buck ends with the manager and management team.
We did win a lot of games when Solskjaer was first appointed, but the team has gotten worse the more time he has spent with them. The players look completely clueless on the pitch to the extent you've got to wonder what is being done on the training ground. There's no identity, no organization, it is like a flock without a shepherd. Teams that easily have more inferior players are able to show more organization than us. I for one won't believe that our whole squad would wake up in the morning and decide to play for a defeat. If it was one or two players then cool, but when it is the whole team looking completely clueless, making mistakes after mistakes then something's got to be wrong, and if a manager is unable to arrest that, then he simply shouldn't be a manager.
His team selections has been questionable, players don't look motivated in any way, his in-game management has been unconvincing. We seem to be in freefall from minute one, and it is gameover the moment we concede the first goal. Even under Mourinho, we were completing comebacks after comebacks, so you can't tell me that the players are not capable of putting up a fight.
We have got only three games before the season is over and I'm willing to wait it out, but I'm not very convinced going into end of season, and it has reached a point where I would say giving Solskjaer millions to spend in the summer would be complete mediocracy. It would be adding more bodies to a team that has no clue.
