Television Anyone recommend me any TV Shows?

The Irish accents were nauseating in season 2, especially the smoke monster aka Man in Black from Lost, holy mother of God. Is it really that hard to pull off?

I still need subs to understand a word Chibs says. In fact I only found out it was Chibs very recently when I looked him up, I thought it was Chips.

Just started season three of Sons of Anarchy. It has that "need to watch the next episode pronto" going for it. Extremely entertaining and I've adapted to Charlie Hunnam's accent.
One of my favourite shows.

Curb your enthusiasm, band of brothers, game of thrones, love/hate all great TV shows

On a personal note I also love watching shows about hoarders, obsessive compulsive cleaners and a show about brokers in New York

The property brokers? MrsP has started watching that, I just think most of them are eminently punchable, not as much as Robbie Savage is, obviously, but still worth a swing.

Shit. i was going to start watching this, but now i guess ill jump to something else.
I think each season is relatively self-contained, you wouldn't be watching an unfinished story. Or you could watch the Danish/Swedish original. They're making a third series of it.

It's probably been mentioned somewhere in the thread but I've recently started watching The Shield. Just got to the second series but so far it's brilliant. Well worth a watch.
Me too although I'm only on the second episode. Glad to hear it carries on as good as it starts.
One of my favourite shows, even though it lacks realism. It just gets better as it goes along with some excellent guest stars along the way. It's also a show that has a brilliant ending, which is always very nice for the fan.

Enjoy guys, you're in for a few seasons of goodness!

I could never get in to the sheild. I have tried a couple of times. Then again it took 3 attempts to get into The Wire and I loved that. It also took me 3 attempts to get into the Sopranos and I like that as well although not anywhere near the level of The Wire or Breaking Bad. But what is?

Season 1 episode 10 was for me the point at which it has really become awesome.

thats the one and i agree with you but thats part of the reason its entertaining! the 3 main people are all cnuts, but thats the fun off it

You do not and I repeat do not need to watch TV... There are great things going on all over the world in real life, just to prove my point this is from a security camera in a car park:

So we needn't watch TV because there are great things on CCTV?

The Blacklist is highly rated but I just can't seem to get into it, same goes for Person of Interest. POI seems more interesting to me so I'll give it a shot.

I binged season 3 of SoA, just finished the finale a few minutes ago and holy shit, what an ending! OK season overall, terrible, terrible norn iron accents, but you adjust, until this fecker shows up;

But yeah, the last episode was all kinds of awesome. :)

I like it, James Spaders character Raymond Reddington gets some great one liners.

Watching How to Get Away with Murder at the moment and I'm enjoying it a lot, Viola Davis is brilliant.

Is Borgen as good as its meant to be?

First season is very good, 2nd season is a complete letdown. Dont remember if there is season 3 but didnt watch it anymore anyway.

On topic: Damages - me and my missus were glued to tv until we saw all 5 seasons and we did it in a record time. Excellent series.

It was probably mentioned but whoever didnt watch The Wire he should ASAP. Its one of the best if not the best series I saw in my life.

1st season of True detective was excellent, too bad there will be different 2 actors in the 2nd cause Harrelson and McCounuaghey were brilliant.

I watched the first episode of House of Cards like two weeks ago. Didn't think anything special of it and had a busy schedule, but last Sunday I watched the second episode and now I'm already at the eighth one. Very good show in my opinion, Kevin Spacey is brilliant in it, plus it gave me a more insightful look into the politics of the United States/White House, which I find very interesting. I reckon I'll have watched all the episodes by the end of the week if the quality of the episodes stays like this.

For me the 1st season is superior to the 2nd, still good though.

If you liked the look into American politics, I'd recommend The West Wing.

I've recently watched 3 episodes of the new E4 show Glue and think it is quite good. The writer previously worked on Skins and This is England. Also stars Jordan Stephens from Rizzle Kicks.

I'm currently watching Peaky Blinders, Tyrant, Legends & The Last Ship. They're all keeping me interested so far until the big ones come back round for me TWD, Homeland, Vikings & GOT.
