Television Anyone recommend me any TV Shows?

All I know is “The Old Man” is just not showing any signs of jumping the shark. It just gets deeper and better.

What are the other two?
Tough question but the new seasons Fargo, Tokyo Curse and The Curse are right up there for me. I didn't love The Bear Season 3 as much as 2 so doesn't make the Top 3 cut for me. Of course, I haven't seen a couple of big hits like Shogun yet.

I am watching The Dragon Prince, Mystery of Aavaros. Excellent series so far. Its about two Princes and an elf assassin trying to save a dragon's egg and return it to it's mother dragon to bring peace amongst humans and elfs.

One of the best Sci Fi shows ever made, maybe the best.

One of the best Sci fi ever made.

Yes. The show is better than the books. The story at least in the first book, is kind of a private detective in space looking for a runaway rich girl. The sci-fi elements are very grounded in reality, so it feels very near-future instead of mind blowing future. They do have a hard time explaining some of the political machinations between the various factions (belters, mars, earth, etc.), and they spend too much time on characters on earth that aren't interesting. It's a very good show, but not a great one. B+ maybe?

It's worth the effort. It's main plot takes nearly two seasons to emerge so I can see how you could lose patience with it.

Has some great characters and a great exploration of colonisation.

I’m on season 2 and loving it now. It took around 7 episodes from season 1 before I got properly hooked - stuck with it as you all rated it quite highly. I like that the first season was a film-noir sort of plot but set in a backdrop of bubbling political tensions.

Right there with you. Season 2 episode 5. Took me a bit to get into it but loving it now.

Finished Mr Inbetween, great show.

Pachinko season 2 was great. I'll watch and forget a lot of stuff but that really stands out. Thought it was even better than first season and will be a hard act to follow just because of some of the periods it covers.

Best episode of the show, and one of the best in TV history. So good.
”I’m done fighting, I just want to go home.”

“You can’t go home, Julie.”
Juliette Mao, apart from being devastatingly gorgeous, was a great minor character.

Smashing through the 3rd and latest season of Industry.

What current tv shows are better than it? I don't know how it isn't bigger and more talked about. It's fecking great.

I'm on Season 2 at the moment, think Season 1 was better. Doesn't help I can't stand the Harper character is Season 2. Also I feel the show just tries to insert random sex scenes in for no reason at times.

Yeah that's fair, season 3 it steps up a gear though for sure. Plus Harper takes a bit more of a back seat.

Battlestar Galactica (2004)

Started rewatching this again at the weekend after many years. The annoucement of the Tesla robot made me think of it haha.

Holds up amazingly well, probably due to it being more grounded sci-fi.

Highly recommend giving the mini-series ago if you haven't watched it. Despite being set in space, characters are very relatable as is the struggle they are taking part in.

The theme of war, mortality and religion all play a part in the series overall and most importantly, the show got to its end point and concluded in a satisfying way.

Highly underappracriated show in my opinion.

I've come to the conclusion I have the hots for basically any celeb with Scandinavian roots or facial features:

Rebecca Ferguson
Cate Blanchett
Malin Akerman
Kirsten Dunst
Brie Larson
Scarjo

Etc..
You forgot best of them all:

Halfway through season 2 of rewatching Prison Break. It's such a ridiculous show but so watchable.

Mahone/William Fichtner is light years ahead of everyone else in that show in terms of acting though.

The first season was brilliant. The second was also quite good with Mahone. Just went to shit after that though.

The Swedish (original) Thin Blue Line has a third season out. Solid enough but I feel they should gave stopped after the second season.

The Responder featuring Tim from Office UK seems okay. A bit dime a dozen cop series but very watchable. Freeman does a good job.

Ah yes...Mad for Mads *drool*;)
Him and Viggo Mortenson should make some gay porn. "Hey is that Anduril in your pocket or are you just happy to see me step Aragorn?" "Yes, you have my sword"
Where can I watch this show? Dialogue seems clunky but seems like the set pieces will make up for it.

Disclaimer based on the book just dropped on Apple TV. Cate Blanchett, Kevin Kline, and Sacha Baron Cohen star in a very serious drama. The acting is top notch.

Nearly through Shogun. I seem to remember enjoying the original decades ago but this is really great so far. Unless they botch the landing you assume that some of the other 5 books in the series will be made.

Started watching today. Not sure what to make of it yet but I'm only 1 episode in. Kevin Kline playing a Brit and one of my long term love interests Cate being her usual Oscar winning self performance will keep me going for now.

I had to google just to get the basic premise. The second episode ramps up the pressure.
