Television Anyone recommend me any TV Shows?

People of Earth
Atlanta
The Good Place
Brooklyn 99
Bobs Burgers
Community
Parks n Recreation
Superstore

all good quirky comedies I can watch over and over

Drama wise I recommend

The Wire (obviously best show ever made)
Game Of Thrones
The Deuce
The Blacklist
Elementary ( now officially the best TV Sherlock with actual plots that make sense)
Luther
Narcos
Bloodline

And finally just some good shows to chill out and binge on

Doctor Who
Supernatural
Daredevil
Jessica Jones
The Defenders
Luke Cage (warning stay well away from Iron Fist mind)
Lucifer
Gotham

way too much TV to be honest and I'm sure iv missed loads I like as well .

Last couple of weeks ive binged watched the Blacklist, The last ship and Zoo. All decent enoug watches, especially blacklist where James Spader is utterly brilliant.

I've just started with The Sopranos..
I haven't watched it yet because I saw 15min of the pilot years and years ago and I didn't like it for some reason (don't ask me why) so I've been putting it off for all this time despite all the praise it's gotten. 7 episodes in now though and since I can't do much else than just stay in bed/on the couch atm I can see myself knocking this whole thing out in a couple of weeks easy, love it so far!

Good list, but I personally found Luke Cage so boring, do not recommend that at all. Entourage needs to be on the comedy list to watch over and over again.

I watched half an hour of Lúcifer and had to turn it off. I've really come to despise that overly stylised, glossy Netflix filter but aside from that I just thought it was awful.

The Good Place is nice. Of course, some go way overboard like people declaring third episode of this season best piece of TV in 2017, but, still nice.

Interesting. It's not a Netflix production so can you give me an example of a Netflix original with this 'filter' or is it generally on your Netflix app?

Ah, there goes my theory. But that god awful Rebirth film and Atypical spring to mind. They all have this typical mega HD hollowness to them, something more than them all just being collectively shit productions. I'm likely imagining it as I have no idea what definitely is or isn't a Netflix original, though I did think those three were.

Loads of good quality shows on Netflix and Prime ,Narcos ,Bloodline ,Making of a Murderer etc.

Is anyone else looking forward to Good Omens with David Tennant and Michael Sheen ? Loved the book by Terry Prachitt and Neil Gaiman.

The Wire is currently in my top 5 but I wouldn't call it goat. I live an hour from Baltimore too. It was a fantastic show to watch as a local. Gives a different perspective. Breaking Bad is my goat for now. Bloodline was great too.

We just started Tin Star. Really like it.

Bloodline had a great first season, decent second and horrendous third season. I would be reluctant to recommend it based on how bad it ends. It's similar to Dexter in that regard actually.

Oh just starting season 3 have heard similar from people so ready for it .

Tin Star is awful. And the Wire is GOAT :)

The ending was shit because they apparently stopped filming due to the cost of doing films in the Keys. Imagine, Netflix getting bent over money for filming.

I think the first episode focuses on Tony's mother, I remember finding it annoying when I watched it. Got to the 2nd-3rd episode and was great so watched the whole series over about a month or so. Thinking of watching it again as I've been starting lots of shows but nothing really keeping interest atm.

Still can't believe Big Little Lies won the best mini series award at the Emmys.

I was the same except I watched the first season in 1 day. Wife was gone and I was bored. I gave her 1 week to watch it because it was just before season 2 was about to start. We just re-watched The Wire with our 17yr old daughter. We started the Sopranos after but she gave up after 3 episodes so we stopped as well.

There is a Breaking Bad fan movie floating around. I downloaded it but have not watched it yet.

It's consistently brilliant all the way through mate. It loses its charm a little bit during the last two seasons but is still excellent.

In my opinion the overall quality was steadily decreasing during Steve Carell's last season or so and turned into a pile of shit right after he left. First six
seasons were brilliant, tough.

Yeah you might be right since the mother truly is nothing but annoying. :D

The Good Place is a fun little show.

You could probably cast Kristen Bell as a serial killer who eats puppies and she'd make it charming and fun.

I watched the first episode of that, i enjoyed the premise.

Ozark - seems quite good so far.

I remember reading the storyline and thinking isn't this Arrested Development? Which is an amazing show by the way.

Then I watched Ozark and was hooked Bateman is doing a great job in a dark drama and is totally convincing

Haha! Watched that too.

Watched the first episode of Ozark. Very good, can't remember when was the last time I watched a pilot as good. Hopefully it keeps it up.

Have been recommended F is for Family, anyone watch it? Is it any good?
