Anyone watched Big Little Lies?
Great cast and plot sounds interesting.
It's probably been mentioned a thousand times in this thread already, but Peep Show is bloody great.
I haven't enjoyed a TV show as much as that before.
Is there anything else quite like it?
It was interesting. Surprised to find something like that from USA (the channel). Not sure if it's been mentioned but Mr Robot is world class.
Watching Fargo season 2 on netflix. Watched season 1 but for some reason didn't get hooked on season 2 after 2 episodes.
Now on episode 5 and it's bloody awesome.
Also there's a very intriguing looking show just come on Netflix called "13 reasons why."
Started promising, ended a little disappointingAnyone watched Big Little Lies?

The whole plot is based on the fact that he can't fecking listen to the tapes and figure it all out later, when he has all information. A little hard to be invested in the main character, he is so frustrating! The show is still catchy'13 Reasons Why' is good, just finished it up on Netflix.

Also surprised by how much I liked Fargo. It's like True Detective based in the upper Midwest with a heavy dose of dark comedy, which is not surprising given the Coen Brothers' involvement. They lost me a bit at the end of season 2 though...
Yeh that's something they've changed about from the books in order to dramatise it I guess. The whole plot is based on the fact that he can't fecking listen to the tapes and figure it all out later, when he has all information. There's nothing quite like it but The Thick of It and The Office are probably the most similar in tone. The same writers worked on Fresh Meat but it's a bit hit and miss and features far too much Jack Whitehall.

No nothing is really similar, if you haven't seen the Mitchell and Webb look there is some great moments in there but its a sketch show so I caution its extremely hit and miss. Its hits are great though. As for the thick of it recommendation, it isn't really similar but its so so good, also there is a spin off film called in the loop which is one of the funniest films I have seen.
There is no fixed air date yet, I have read Channel 5 are delaying the broadcast of Season 3 so they can broadcast it with no breaksWhy hasn't Gotham season 3 started on Channel 5 in the UK Yet? It seems very bizarre seeing as the two previous seasons started about 6 weeks after they premiered in America.

Anyone seen The Fall? 3 episodes in and very good so far.
Designated Survivoim really enjoying 'r' at the moment
Also check out the US spinoff after that, Veep. Not as good IMO and Ianucci is no longer involved, but we're unlikely to see any more TToI unfortunately. Thanks, yes, I didn't mind the Mitchell and Webb look, but I could never really get into it as much as Peep Show.
Will also take a look at In the Loop, thanks for the suggestion.
Rape fantasy for chicks. Ending is crap. Sorry.Anyone seen The Fall? 3 episodes in and very good so far.

Scandal Season 6
Billions season 3
is my current play list.
Only Futurama is an acceptable substitute for Futurama. Is there anything similar to Futurama?
Yeah legacy - I've been disappointed but am addicted to the format! You mean 24 - legacy?
If so yeah I'm also enjoying that, though it's typical 24 fare

There are quite a few fans on here, I think there may even be a dedicated thread. Season 1 was great, very atmospheric and slow, and the character development was very good. Ben Mendelsohn especially was excellent. The 'cliffhanger' at the end of the season got me expecting the worst for season 2 which I haven't started watching yet.btw has "Bloodline" been mentioned? S01 was, well, bloody good indeed.
