Television Anyone recommend me any TV Shows?

Watch the Colombian version - El Patron Del MaL

even better - its round 70 episodes, each brilliant, and so covers true details and has amazing character development.

Once you watch 3 or 4 episodes you won't be able to stop

Cheers, I'll look it up.
Have finished Narcos now and feel a bit sad that it's over as you do with every great series, so more of the same but different sounds awesome!

The BBC's The Replacement had two of the most well crafted tension building first two eps, and one of the worst resolved, off the wall nonsense thirds I think I've ever seen. It's like it was written by two different people, with completely different remits

I thought it was brillant, some of the best BBC I have watched for a long time , right up and till the last 15-20 mins, then it was WTF is this rubbish, worst ending of anything ever.

Season 2 of Into The Badlands has begun. If you do like some cheesy apocalyptic action with over the top Kung Fu and sword scenes then you really can't go wrong with this. A nice antidote to the arthritis ridden slow shite Kung-Fu in Iron Fist.

I didn't think of it was cheesy, just bad fake. The action sequences are OK, but the whole series felt like it was put together for a stage performance.

It is a AMC show about a post-apocalyptic world ruled by Kung-Fu warlords who enslave people. Dialogue, reason, acting and logic takes the back seat in favour of violence and action sequences. I quite enjoy it, but then again I love Kung Fu movies.

They are able to carry all the silliness imo since they never once take themselves or their show serious, like for example Cage and Iron Fist.

I thought The Replacement was terrible, not aided by McClure doing the 'crazy woman eyes' thing to the max...so much so I felt she was making it plain that acting in such by-the-numbers hokum was beneath her. A ton of implausibilities and the whole thing looked so pristine it made the entire situation seem artificial. Not impressed at all.

Yeah, I watched the final episode last night and it was so ridiculous that it made the previous two episodes a complete waste of time. The fact that too many of the main characters were both stupid, and incredibly annoying to watch made it even more uncomfortable.

Any reviews on SS-GB? Is it similar to The Man In The High Castle?

It's okay if you like a bit of a slow burner but I do find it quite interesting to be fair. The only thing that throws me off is the voice of the main character, somehow it just doesn't match the face.

Scratch that. Watched the latest episode (which turned out to be the finale) and my general view is that it was poor. If you want to sit through five hours feeling bored in the hope that it will eventually improve, don't bother, because it doesn't. Another flop drama from the BBC.

Has anyone seen Bron/Broen (The Bridge)? It is a Scandinavian crime drama.
Highly recommend it. The first season is brilliant, the second is quite ok and in the third season it gets better again. Waiting eagerly for the fourth season.
The acting is brilliant and the plot gets you hooked as well.

Edit: Season 4 coming 2018, the shooting was done last fall.

This Is Us might just be one of the best shows I've ever seen. Incredibly high quality

Ended up watching the first 14 episodes of this with some girl last weekend. It's alright.

Show's strongest point is that there's genuinely some good character development in my opinion. Couple of real funny lines get dropped occasionally too. And Randall is an absolute boss. All in all nowhere near as shite or girly tv-esque as the trailer suggests it will be.

Coming to think of it, I'd actually say it's well worth the watch.

I think the writing is just ridiculously good. Every character is interesting and nothing feels corny or forced. Major rarity in this type of show.

Just started Outlander last night, not bad but not great either. Oh and the music keeps reminding me of Black Sails, which doesn't help.

I though it was a soft lady porn (50 shades-ish)

One of my favourites. I also liked The Killing, Borgen and Dem som dræber (the latter perhaps less so but I'm a sucker for Lars Mikkelsen). I know it's become almost cliché but I think they're making some great stuff in that neck of the woods.

Just finished Travelers anyone know when the next series is out because I can't wait too long for it!

Just finished season 1. Ten quality episodes with brilliant acting, especially by the character Saga Norén. She is very good.
