Television Anyone recommend me any TV Shows?

Anyone heard much about this new show Legion? Apparently it's part of the Marvel universe and based on an X-Men character!?

Totally popped up out of nowhere!

Reviewers are raving about it. I've just acquired ep.1.

The Grinder is a great comedy, criminally cancelled. Quite surprised by how good Fred Savage is in the Bateman-esque straight man role.

Good stuff, will look forward to season 2.

It is a decent timetravel remedy while we wait for next season of 12 monkeys.

Also if you are still deciding between Sneaky Pete and Goliath then go with Sneaky Pete first, it is much better.

I've seen entire Sneaky Pete and 5/8 eps of Goliath.

Sneaky Pete will be my next watch.
Have you seen Bates Motel, I have heard of it but has not been on my radar to watch.
4 seasons to watch if its worth it.

Glad Travellers is getting a second season , would be good to complete the story, taking so long to renew it might put any season 3 in doubt even if good viewing numbers.

It is decent, and Vera Farmiga is very good in it as the mother in despair, likewise Freddie Highmore and how he gradually descends into madness.

I watched it up until season 3 when I just sort of lost interest since I caught up with it and had to watch on a episode to episode basis, like most shows it is best when binged.

Watched the first few episodes of Bates Motel. It's very good. The Mother and Son are great.

I loved it, just waiting for Netflix to give me more.
Think there only was 2 seasons on Netflix :(

Not sure what to think of Santa Clarita Diet so far - it has its moments but I don't think Olymphaunt or Barrymore have a very good chemistry and a lot of the comedic scenes are quite off. It's mildly entertaining, the over the top gore helps.

Awful acting from Olyphant, imo, he just hams random emotions without any connection to the reality (or, probably, the script) in his attempt to show us the stages of a mental breakdown.

All the sci-fi watchers here: I have great trouble distinguishing all the new one-word titles: Expanse, Travelers, Colony, Continuum (and any others I may have missed).
Which are worth it? I've liked both Firefly and most Trek and of course Star Wars, so I'm open to most sci-fi.

The Expanse is the best out of those, at least the first season, only just started watching the second. Darker than Firefly, but there is a resemblance

Travelers are alright, Continuum I grew tired of, it was nice at the beginning, although both were just the fillers for me. Colony is yet another show made by the futuristic anti utopian template, not bad but boring and predictable

the first episode of the expanse didn't do it for me at all, is it worth ploughing on a bit?

Expanse is good.
Lost Room, a very underrated mini series.
SG1 in case you haven't seen it.
Westworld is well liked by most.

Liked all of those mentioned, but none of them is great TV. Some interesting takes on old ideas, with usually non-spectacular acting. They are all also quite colourless in looks and quite humourless in feel. Gritty new world.

I still liked them, so recommend a watch. Once should be enough if you find nothing better to do.

Biggest plus, short seasons!

I myself going old school. Got me an Eerie, Indiana. Apparently cooler Strange Things. Oh yeah, and Otherworlds, 80s series about family that wound up in another dimension. Heard good things.

Expanse is good but not a must watch.

Watch "The 100", it seems like a trashy teen drama but it is actually very good sci-fi. First 2 seasons are very very good.

Thanks all (4) of you.
I ended up watching the Expanse, once it picks up it's awesome. Binged the 2nd half of 1st season on a single weekend night.

After Trek, has anyone bothered with a utopian future or is there nothing left to do with it? :(

I've hardly seen series lately but I'm enjoying the season of Blindspot and I'm looking forward to watch Designated Survivor second part of the season. I started to see "Sniper",It´s not bad.
I like "the 100" although the first seasons are better.
"The Colony" is quite entertaining and original. The second season is good. The second season of "The Path" is not too good and although I like the idea of the show I do not see much future.
I still have to see the Quarry and Expanse.
I really like Vikings but I have a question for those who watched this season
The show goes down once Ragnar dies? Or does it still have a future?

Thinking about watching the following shows...

Westworld
Deadwood
Orange is the new Black
House of Cards

Are these shows worth watching? I've heard Deadwood is excellent but don't know much about it. Can somebody give a quick summary for each show without spoilers of course. (I would google them but I avoid spoilers at all costs :p)

Put all of them on hold and watch The Exorcist instead.

The Excorist I'll definitely watch at some point and I'm caught up on Power which is an underrated show. I recommend that to anyone who hasn't seen it. It's available on Netflix in the UK and Ireland.
