Television Anyone recommend me any TV Shows?

Is Fear the Walking Dead worth a look? The reviews seem to be a bit meh (but the reviews for Jessica Jones were consistently amazing and that was dreadful, so I tend to take what the critics say with a pinch of salt).
it started off promising but ended up pretty boring I thought, not a patch on Walking Dead. The son (the main star) had potential but the series didn't really do much. The second series when it comes out might be better though.

Just watched the pilot episode of Bosch last night. Is this show any good?

I like it, I've read a few of the "Harry Bosch" novels and they've nailed the main character by casting Titus Welliver. I'm 6 episodes into season 2 now and have to say that like most decent shows it gets better as it goes along.

Woah Woah Woah, I didn't even know season 2 was done!

Off to, erm, acquire them....

I have read most of the Harry Bosch novels, and have to say I was pleasantly surprised by how good the Amazon series were, both 1 and 2. Another good series on Amazon is the Man in the High Castle. Currently watching Bloodline on Netflix, very good so far, gets more intriguing as it progresses.

I really enjoyed Bloodline - gets quite brooding and menacing as it goes on (but the scenery is lovely! )

I am currently finishing Ray Donovan season 3. When I am done, I have 4 options. Some opinions and advice from those who have watched either of these will be greatly appreciated.

The Billions, lucifer, the magicians or the player?

I'm enjoying Billions. Diamanti vs Damian Lewis is fun and it's very watchable.

Ray Donovan is brilliant, can't wait for season 4

I like Billions, its a bit like House of Cards with themes of power & corruption

The Magicians takes a while to get going but does eventually get going and I'm glad I stuck with it, its not as magical as say Harry Potter but its kind of like an adult version of same but set in the US.

Haven't watched Lucifer.

Lucifer is cringeworthy; Magicians are very childish; The Billions are great; didn't watch the player

For anyone who likes Gang/Mafia stylee shows (too many of them to name, you know the ones!), Peaky Blinders is well worth a watch... totally passed me by the first time, but just catching up with the first two series on Netflix.

In case you don't know, it's centered around a Birmingham gang in 1919ish.

3rd season out soon I think. Great show indeed, shame that (like most British shows) there are only 6 episodes a season.

Watched the first series of Black-ish and as a huge sitcom fan it just didn't do it for me.

I recommend Broad City as a comedy though.

11/22/63 looks very promising so far (I've watched only the first 2 episodes). Steven King's filming, and nothing like Under the Dome, thank God

Yeah, it's back some time in April on the Beeb i think... nice to have that come along just as i finish the first two on Netflix!

I actually don't mind the 6 episode seasons... each is a full hour for a start rather than the 40min american standard. Plus it means you don't get the dull 'filler' episodes they always shove into the american series to make up the numbers.

King is a producer on the show, but he doesn't direct. It's very good, I've seen 5 so far and been pleasantly surprised.

Blame the google-translate - "filming" in my sentence is meant to say "screening/screen version", that the series are based on King's book, not that he is directing it

Anyone seen Netflix's new comedy, The Ranch? Netflix have a great hit-rate (DD, JJ, House of Cards, Narcos, OITNB, Bojack, etc.) but this is one of the worst things I've ever seen.

So, so bad.

Z Nation - way better than TWD. Doesn't take itself seriously and doesn't naff about with long, boring story arcs.

So I've finished The Sopranos. All in all a great show, definitely. Well-acted, good writing but it doesn't beat The Wire for me. Far too much filler involving Carmela, all of Tony's goomars, the psychiatrist Melfi, his awful sister Janice etc. That's also why I'm not keen on watching it a second time in the future while on the other hand I'm tempted to watch The Wire for the 3rd time. Let's be honest, the mob stuff itself was the most entertaining part of the show but the rest became quite dull at some point. I guess I rank it on the same level as Mad Men and Breaking Bad but below True Detective season 1 which on its turn is below The Wire, the very best TV show ever as far as I'm concerned.
By the way, the native Italian mobsters were hardcore as feck.

Is Modern Family or Once Upon A Time worth watching?
1. Yes, if you like classic sitcoms. It's light and easy to watch
2. No - it's actually has a great idea behind it, but it gets boring very soon. Rample is the only remotely interesting character in the show

I am watching all kinds of tv shows, tones of them...forgot totally about some or more then some. So being curious i decided to see what TV shows are canceled in last 2 years(i dont track those kinds of things) and results...i was waiting more then 50% of them to return for next season, when in reality they are all canceled...some even 2 years ago

For those looking for a new comedy show to watch, I'd probably half heartedly recommend The Last Man on Earth. The story is great, but the jokes were just very typical SNL types. So if you like SNL, can watch it and enjoy it more than I did. Season 1 was average, but I have liked Season 2, a bit more. Nothing great, just a little time pass.
