I'm sad to say I have to agree. Just the gut feeling. Which of course does not prove that his guilty.
As I understand it, it’s not been framed as a suspension - it’s been carefully worded and managed as a mutual agreement to step aside while the investigation runs its course. Seems the best solution for all involved.
Why even just not guilty? If the police dismiss the case and don't charge then it should be no different. (Hard I know for all those who have already decided he is guilty)
Incidentally, and I understand the tribalistic nature of football, but even since my previous post some of the comments have been hugely inappropriate. He’s a man facing very serious accusations, allow the legal process, the civil process and the club’s own internal processes to work - the three are intrinsically connected. The truth will out, one way or another.

I don't understand the discussion about "double standards" and comparisons with other players in other teams. If some players in other teams have done similar or worse things, does this make our players' behaviour better?

I mean that's what a suspension is the only difference here is they've framed it as mutual to minimise bad publicity for Antony. Seems like a smart move to me.
It is nothing like that at all. This is law, order and conduct. The law should apply to all and there is a system in place to investigate, charge or no charge, guilty or not guilty.
If there is no case/charges dropped or found not guilty, then people have a right to continue with their lives.
If there are serious allegations made with a base to them, then everyone should face the same scrutiny, regardless of fanbase, prestige of club etc..

Giggs was arrested in another case, not this one. His gf (and her friend) was found lying about DV. This forum didn't allow the case to be discussed whilst being on trial, I had to read it from twitter of all places.

The things he's been accused of are quite sociopathic.
I'd be very surprised if he was banned for that, last I checked a wrong or unpopular opinion still isn't against the rules.

But the law applies to all. Here we are not a court of law, we are a discussion group. I don't know why some people confuse this, it is really simple.
Banned users will have "New Member" as tagline, unless you have a custom one, though this guy was a newbie so he had that anyway. If it's a permanent ban then the profile will become unavailable, though that message can be because of privacy settings (like mine) so it's not foolproof.
You can also use the search function to check, if you go to the 'member' field and type in a username, permanently banned users won't pop up.

She absolutely is not. This should be left for club and the authorities to deal with. If Anthony is cleared and the correct steps are taken, then it can resolved.
If the ownership issues are resolved, then new authoritative leadership can resolve both Greenwood and Anthony situations.
