Painful to watch him now, really likeable bloke but if he checks back once more I won't have a TV to watch.
He's simply forgotten how to be a football player. I'm not sure if it's a mental block, confidence. I'm not sure it's even an injury. He is moving freely.
He's been found out and for a long time now.Stop him, double up and they know he runs back rather than use that left foot.
IMO he's at most threat from Zaha signing and at least you know Zaha will take on a player
I genuinely never rated him, ever. I honestly have never seen what all the fuss is about.
Maybe it's rose tinted specs but being off form used to constitute five or six games, when did it become a season?
Yeah, don't think it's anything to do with being "found out". Just doesn't seem physically or mentally the same to me.
Even when he was pulverising Ashley Cole a few years back?

It has got to a point where I would rather see our RB play on the wing instead of Valencia.
It's got to the point where I'd rather see Stephen Hawking out there.

What has happened to him this season? I wasnt the greatest fan of his prior to last season but when he came back from injury he was phenomenal. Hes been distinctly average this season, Nani coming back from injury has been a breath of fresh air.
His other problem seems to be that whenever a defender blocks him on his right, he has to turn a full 360 degrees to get it back on his right again somehow. Usually by trying to traverse the entire circumference of the pitch. It's absolutely insane.
His unwillingness to use his left is starting to irritate me to an irrational level.
His unwillingness to use his left is starting to irritate me to an irrational level. Today alone the world is full of injustice but nothing has pissed me off like watching a pro footballer do everything he can to keep it on his right side.
