I'm a huge Griezmann fan but with Zlatan around next season, I just don't see how he would fit in our system with the players we have at our disposal. Sanchez on the other hand would be far more spectacular especially since he's PL proven.

If we are in the Europa League there is absolutely no chance of getting him. A one-off season is fair enough but this would be 3/4 seasons not even taking part in the CL having spunked millions. Griezmann should be in a CL winning team not missing out on even playing in it. He will know that himself surely.

Not really and the reason is that Sanchez can play on either wings and as well as behind Zlatan or lead the line himself. He's done it at Arsenal and has done a decent job. With Griezmann, I have my doubts of him playing on the left or leading the line as the main striker. Sanchez is more of a bullish player who'll get stuck in challenges and will run around till his feet drop off and also he tracks back to win possession of the ball. I'm not too sure if Griezmann is willing to do that. Those are just my concerns. PS: Since the time Sanchez played for Udinese, I always thought he was the perfect CR7 replacement but we lost our chance when he joined Barca and he did again when he joined Arsenal and we went for Di Maria instead.

By his endless comments about being very happy in Madrid you'd have to think he's not coming. Jose's comment the other week about how any players who prefer the beach should go and play for LA Galaxy sounded very much like it was aimed at Griezmann.
The problem we have now is that so many of us have convinced ourselves this is a done deal if it turns out it doesn't happen who do we turn to to ensure we don't have another season like this next season?
