Yeah, doesn't exactly sound like a player who's dying to leave. When United come in and offer him £300k a week his feelings may change, however.
He could say bollocks about who knows what the future holds like every other player who is considering moving.

Generally players say that when trying to apply pressure on their current club for better contract, or to spark interest in potential suitors.. He's either agreed to join and just wants to avoid the question, or is committed to staying.
Weather is the key variable that distinguishes LA, the others you can find many places better- hence the point it was singled out

Think this one is off this summer. I think both him & Simeone will stay at Atletico for one more season, before they both move on. Probably a last shot at another La Liga or CL title

Agree with this. This story was all about us wanting him and not him wanting out. Especially now that Simeone stays. Even if Simeone left I still don't think he would want to move to Manchester.

I find it odd the idea that a player of his calibre and stage in his career would join us without CL again. Jose would have to be a hell of a salesman.
I'm 99% certain we're gonna get him to be honest. I just hope it's not another high-profile huge money signing that draws all the negative attention if he doesn't immediately hit the ground running. Our transfer strategy has been poor the last few years, overall. On paper, he's a sure-fire hit though, his attitude is 100 times better than Di Maria's and being a goal scorer (unlike Pogba) a few early goals in the season and critics will stop paying attention to the transfer fee and get off his back.

Basically, we get Champions League and he's ours, nothing we didn't know.

I have a feeling that Griezmann will not be coming to United. His agent has spoken of our interest, which leads me to believe it is like the Gaitan, Garay and so many other players. None of our targets speak about our interest in them, neither the player, or their agent.
Even though, I also think that we won't join this premise is not true. Only last summer we had Zlatan and Raiola (Zlatan & Pog) speaking to the media for weeks.

You must have been dreaming. He was absolutely non-committal about United. He did not mention the club by name, only gave vague answers about his future. The press, though were different. They said that he would sign for United if LvG was removed as manager and Mourinho took over.

My point, as was Mou's I imagine, was that many locales have world class beauty & food but fewer can boast the weather that LA enjoys - it's the weather that's ultimately hard to find better elsewhere. Everything else is secondary in LA, the weather is king - else no one would bother to live there

I can't see him coming here when he could have his pick of any of the big clubs. I think England would be his last choice as he has stated he doesn't like the weather here and prefers playing in the sun. He has also said over and over he's staying st atletico. He's never once said he would like to sign for Utd.

To be fair. A lot of players complain about the weather and still join a PL-club. Ibrahimovic did this too.

Stunned that people think we're a lock to sign him even without CL football. It can't be sold as a project every summer
His movements is excellent and he's very difficult to defend against. Let's hope for the best.
