cringe
Don't give a flying feck if you think it's cringe or not, I see United differently than just some club.

How does Griezmann and Zlatan fit in the same team? Should Griezman play on the wing, or behind Zlatan?
It's only a red flag if he doesn't look at the context though, and really even if we do scrape in he must know that this team isn't going to suddenly be a CL contender next season, so any player looking at joining United has to surely be looking long term.
My take is that Spurs and Liverpool might well beat us to top 4 this year, but if you are a player looking to win a PL title and be a serious contender in the CL, we are the better bet IMO over the long haul. I can only see CL as a deciding factor in not joining United if a player is going to Barca, Bayern, Real, juve or indeed staying at Atleti.
There is a difference between caring about playing in the CL and caring about actually being a contender for domestic and European titles, and you have to look beyond a singular season to gauge that.
How many 'elite' level players are prepared to wait 'for the long haul' until a team is capable of challenging for titles/champions leagues, etc? That's your problem. These guys have a very short career at the very top level.

United have more to offer aside from that though.
Sadly Spurs have neither.
Ouch!
I know that di Marzio's opinion is valued, but Bayern would not meet his release clause and have Müller for Griezmann's position.I can well imagine weeks of stories about us chasing him, and then out of the blue one day Bayern sign him with no fuss.
I've heard rumour that muller hasn't been great this year and Bayern are open to selling him. So their could be a position for Griezmann.I know that di Marzio's opinion is valued, but Bayern would not meet his release clause and have Müller for Griezmann's position.
Means they're among the most interested partiesDoesn't the article say "front row"? Or at least that's what GFFN posted. Front row is an odd term, I mean, I'd like to think united are front row too.

Yep, but that won't stop the self pity shining through for a few pages after this.Means they're among the most interested parties
Didn't Moyes have worries about Thiago being able to play in the PL so couldnt make his mind up about signing him or something like thatI remember the last time Bayern were interested in a player we were. It was a no-contest (Thiago).
I still resent Guardiola and Bayern to this day for that.
Onto the Mbappe thread!
Bayern is not selling Müller. He is as Bavarian as they come and the face of the club post Lahm, Ribery and Robben.I've heard rumour that muller hasn't been great this year and Bayern are open to selling him. So their could be a position for Griezmann.
Just no for me. Sooner get the lad from Everton who's proven goal scorer in the prem for a number of years now. Don't want another 80m lottery at the club. Bayern are welcome to him....
Good thing we let Bayern get Thiago and signed Fellaini who was proven in the prem all those years ago too, then.
Let Bayern????? I'm pretty sure Thiago along with his relationship with Pep might have had something to do with it quote re. His transfer to Bayern.....
"It's not just about how you feel, or your self-confidence, but how other people feel about you. Pep trusted me and I felt that truth. I learnt a lot from him."
