I watch a lot of Atletico.
Griezmann is a really clever player who would combine well with Mkhitaryan on the center to right side, with Pogba and Martial on the center to left, a striker up top and a CM ahead (and slightly to the right) and behind those pairs. In tougher games where we go 4-3-3 I think he'd be a slightly better 9 than Zlatan and a better RW than Mata, though Mkhitaryan's pace means he wouldn't be a big upgrade there. Having Griezmann, Martial, Mkhitaryan and Mata fighting for 3 spots behind Ibra (backed up by Rashford) looks perfect to me. Depth, but lots of playing time for everyone. If we go 4-3-3, I think it would lead to Mata or Mkhitaryan being marginalized and leaving.
Griezmann's not a great dribbler but he makes the correct decision over and over and is a bright, quick player good at basically everything if not great at any one thing. Among Prem players, I guess I would compare him to an on song 2010-11 Rooney or maybe the goalscoring (better left foot and long-range shooter though) and runs of a prime Robbie Keane except also having the playmaking and creativity of a 10, not at the genius level of a Silva or Ozil but a solid Cazorla or Oscar normal very good 10 level, though he seems to be getting even better at that lately and might end up at an in-between level.
99 absolute prime Dwight Yorke is sort of before my time, but maybe that works too?
