Let me welcome you to the Mané thread.I feel I've got one more transfer saga left in me this summer, I'm just not sure this is the one to emotionally invest in.

Even though hes £56m I say go for him, our net spend is £8m so plenty of money left.So this lad is a United fan and has a release clause and is quite good, what are we waiting for?
What amazing business that is.Even though hes £56m I say go for him, our net spend is £8m so plenty of money left.
Presumably we are waiting for Arsenal to nick him as we have already let chelsea and city nab a playerSo this lad is a United fan and has a release clause and is quite good, what are we waiting for?
There is no talk of us signing him, right now it's just a dream
Not with your attitude...This thread has made up four mages soley from the muppet wank bank and nothing else
Absolute not a goer this one.
Probably makes too much sense this transfer. Not with your attitude...

Why? It's a legitimate point, we obviosuly have a lot of financial muscle we haven't yet exercised this summer. Can we please nip this in the bud right now?

I agree that we shouldn't point to it as an achievement like they do: "well comparing league position to net spend we're blah blah". But spending £8m net is a signal that we have a lot of money left this window. That's all I meant chip.Net spend or "dippernomics" is purely the domain of Liverpool FC and its loyal but calculator-less followers. Lets keep it that way sport
I didn't use a calculator for this its been mentioned many times by Journos, just merely bringing up the fact we could easily go out and spunk a load of cash on perhaps 2 major signings, Muller and Greizmann.Net spend or "dippernomics" is purely the domain of Liverpool FC and its loyal but calculator-less followers. Yep. Overpriced obviously, but who gives a feck at this point. He's only just turned 24, is a United supporter, and is a top class player. To take anyone from Atletico you would need to pay way over the odds, or pay the release clause (like in his case). We all know we have the money to comfortably do it, and he would be perfect to add the pace and goals in our attack, and can play in the hole or on either flank or up top... Just makes sense to bring him in. Yet there is virtually nothing linking us to him strangely.Even though hes £56m I say go for him, our net spend is £8m so plenty of money left.

I know, I think it was next logical step after not getting Pedro and then Greizmann tweeting about Rooneys pass, it seemed that 2+2= We are getting Greizmann. Also we need someone to be muppets about on here until the window shuts and hopefully tomorrow in LVG presser he gives us something to cling onto.Yep. That's what was reported earlier too, that Woodward still being in Spain could be an indicator of some business being done. Hopefully it's the signing of Messi, Ronaldo and Bale. But I'd take Griezmann in a heartbeat.
We're probably just finalising our official matador clothing partnership though.
Don't think we will sign him.. He is sponsored by Puma.. We are only in for signing Adidas sponsored players!!
I forgot Woody was still in Spain.
Surely he would have come home now, unless ....
maybe they have a spy in the Caf?SSN are reporting on this now too. I reckon there's movement from United officials in Spain.
