Think a right sided Memphis type player is exactly what we need really, a goal threat, good on the ball, pacy wide player on that side, with Mata behind Rooney feeding them with passes. Or Mata still on the right and Griezmann behind Rooney where he plays often for Atletico. Would be perfect for us IMO.
And I would gladly give my right bollock for him. Do you reckon we could get Atletico to waive the buy-out-clause if we offered them a nice pair of testacles? Gift wrapped of course.

Didn't know he was a united fan. If we can't get that creative attacker we want or the proper centre forward, stocking out wings with goalscorers like depay, Mata and Griezmann, masking the lack of a top striker, might be the perfect alternative.

Problem with griezmann is i dont know how happy he woulf be playing at RW when most his games have been on the left or centre. Other than that his left foot cutting in and scoring with memphis on the other side is betterrd by no-one except a welsh lad's left foot.

He is a very good player with less tenacity than someone like Pedro but has better technique. Great finisher too, more of an inside forward than a winger.

That's the player where we should just throw the money at Atletico. Would also rather take him than Bale. Just 24 and he is getting better every year, was already very impressive at Sociedad and I wished we would have signed him then. Can play on the wing or as our second striker, perfect fit imo

The main positive I see with him is that if he does ascend to global superstar status (and I think he will), I don't see his head being turned by the likes of Real. He's already played in a Spain (in Madrid too for that matter!), and being a United fan might make us seem more of a desirable club than the circus across the road from him
