This. AG to Barca doesn’t make much sense as it wouldn’t be much of a natural fit. More so like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. And I find it hard to believe Atletico would be okay letting AG go to RM or Barca over United at the same price.

If not, he’ll most likely join us in the Summer as things clarify themselves up as they did this past Summer where it was a given he was on his way to joining United before the ban.

Ozil can't play in midfield. He's more effective attacking. We can't be buying players and playing them out of position.

Ozil can play in midfield he drifts deep and strolls forward. I think it’s his most effective position.

To me, he looks full of himself, even more so than most footballers. I'm just not fond of players who make everything about them instead of the club. He shows glimpses of brilliance, but is he really that good? He isn't fast enough or tricky enough to play on the right, but does he score enough to be the focal point of attack? Is he good in tight spaces, or is he another Mikhi who needs space to run into?

Players usually peak around 27-30 meaning he should still have his best left in him.
For a club like Barcelona it might be worth the small upgrade he offers compared to Suarez. Suarez have been ridiculously poor this season. If he continues playing like this it wouldn't surprise me if they replace him.
If they do plan to buy Griezmann, i guess they'll get rid of Suarez.

Well, Messi is going to spend most of his time in that central space between the lines, might as well make it formal. Actually from what i remember Barcelona looked best this season while Suarez was injured/rested, and Messi deployed as a false nine flanked with two wide players. I guess Griezmann would be tasked with cutting inside from the wing.
I literally have no idea how would they fit Messi, Dembele, Suarez and Griezmann into the starting XI. It would be 2007 all over again, when you had Henry, Messi, Dinho and Eto'o competing for three spots.
I hope we don't waste anytime with him. I suspect he'd much prefer to go to Barca and stay in Spain.

If I was him I would not come. As long as Cholo Simeone is staying, why would you leave? New stadium and an improving team. They have not lost in the league this season and Diego Costa available now in a few weeks.

Actually I would be fine if we didn't sign Griezmann, Dybala and Asensio. Our focus should be getting another CM with Savic, a potential world class player. I would prefer we brought in a RW that would hug the touchline and whip in crosses. Griezmann, Dybala and Asensio would function more as a inverted wingers. Willian would actually be a great form of business or my personal favorites are either Guedes or Pulisic. And if we could get Sandro or Rose for the LWB role, that would strengthen us immensely.

they'd need to find someone like Kante who can run forever and is still reliable in possession, and they could also just play 4-3-3 in tougher games with Iniesta starting and bring one of the front 3 off the bench with 30 to go as a pretty scary weapon.
Griezmann can go and feck. Would rather Dybala now. Although, I did hope he'd sign for us last summer.
