Him and Pogba combine so well together. With Rashford through the middle and the right signing on the other other wing we could have a devastating attack next season.
I do like him and I did not want to swap him for Willian, but ok...
If he looked up Pogba would have a match ball. He doesn't. He runs down blind alleys all the time and being even more selfish is the last thing he needs.
You did, but if this is how you want to play it then so be it. No need to bicker today though and i shouldn't have brought it up, just thought you had a sly dig at Martial there, my bad
Saturday and a great game to celebrate, can't get much better! Hope you have a good evening!
OT. I thought he got more involved today and looked far more clever in his runs. I think he is starting to get the way Ole wants him to play and expecting him to turn it up another notch before the season is over. The run in this year will be nail-biting but if we keep the momentum up we have a great chance at CL next year. Good times ahead with Martial, Pogba and Rashford leading us back to glory!
He really hates him.You really don't like the guy, huh?
If my memory serves me correctly you wanted to trade him with Willian last summer? Show's how much you know
World class goal today! He and Pogba are easily our two most talented players. Thank god we ditched that relic we had in charge before Ole!
No you don’t.. you are infamous in this thread Haram.I do like him and I did not want to swap him for Willian, but ok...
This Martial lad has been top flight... pace to burn.
Sign him up Woody!
Fantastic today!
Mourinho robbed this lad of a WC gold medal.
Best overall performance under Ole today.

Great game from Martial today, if he is able to polish some of his minor flaws, we have in hand a top top player for us for years
Did anyone see the interview beforehand where he says normally in practice he misses all the time and they have a laugh about how his finishing isn’t great in training but come game day it’s a different story.
"He [Ole] is a coach with great values. I think he knows how to get the best out of players and he makes things clear so when we go out onto the field, we all know our jobs and we all know what we've got to do.
"He's given me lots of advice. It's always positive to get advice from a top player in his own right, but sometimes, when you're out on the field, it comes down to what comes naturally to you and you do what you've always known how to do in terms of finishing.
"We have a laugh among ourselves quite often because I think finishing is something that comes naturally to me. I've played since I was a young kid, I've always been a footballer and a striker from that early age.
"The thing we laugh about is that I miss quite a few in training, whereas in a match, I may only get one chance and I manage to convert it."
"I didn’t think about [the comparable Ronaldo goal in 2007] but Anthony in free flow is a great sight. His balance is fantastic, he is very strong, he shrugs defenders off and he is quick. He is a very, very good finisher and I think that goal won us the game. I think we were in complete control after that."
Evertime he got the ball I was on the edge of my seat.
Do you think he should be our new no. 7?
I think Pogba wants to be no. 6. He was #10 at Juve and then changed to 6Yes
Martial #7 , Rashford #9 and Pogba #10.
It would be great
Wasn’t he no.6 at juve and then changed to no.10 but when he came here Rooney had no.10 so he went back to no.6I think Pogba wants to be no. 6. He was #10 at Juve and then changed to 6
God no! He will end up getting cursed. Let’s leave it well aloneEvertime he got the ball I was on the edge of my seat.

No. Bin off Lukaku and give him the 9 again.Evertime he got the ball I was on the edge of my seat.

Yep. Was #6 at Juve for three seasons then switched to #10 for his last season.Wasn’t he no.6 at juve and then changed to no.10 but when he came here Rooney had no.10 so he went back to no.6

Ah ok, I thought it was the other way.If I was to be supercritical his short passing really has got to improve at this age. I get it, he’s running at full speed but this really is such a basic aspect that can help kill teams even more.
Really fantastic performance nevertheless, our best outlet, can see he is the guy our team is turning to, to lead our attacks.
Not sure if I prefer this goal or his team goal in Solskjaers debut.
His weaker foot is far from convincing hence his cut backs are rather poor. It would add a great element to his play if he was consistent with his pull backs.Fantastic goal, one of his best at United. Can't help but think though, how many we'd score if only he could pick out a man when he gets to the bye line. He was at it again today where he would get there and then pass to the opposition. Incredibly frustrating at times but then he is a striker, maybe he should just shoot.
To be fair to him he probably faces a much better keeper in training!Ole on Martial:

Doesn't play there for either us or FranceI'm still convinced up front is his best position. I was hoping he'd get a chance there today, but Lukaku got the nod instead.
