Martial is an absolutely lazy cnut. His lack of proper application is infuriating. Flatters to deceive on the whole. A proper forward would take the chances that fell to him today.
This never gets stressed out enough by caftards. If it comes to curling the ball then he's very good but every other way, he's shockingly bad.
He's the definition of a marmite player, people can't go on about him being on the right either because he was even worse when he went central.
Poor technique when striking the ball, poor technique when running with the ball, it's like pinball (goes anywhere).
I just don't get the hype with him.
Yeah that's bollocks. All people do is defend his shite. fecking call it out.
Last person I'm going to take advice from on Martial is you, you're an agenda poster with regards to him and always have been.
People are rightfully very upset after that game, but he is only to blame for not putting those away.. that said, he did aim for corners with the finishers, got in some great positions and was probably our most penetrative player all game.
He was picking the ball up and trying to make things happen and not just go for the cowardly option. He outperformed Lukaku, Pogba, Lingard.
Last guy to be getting stick after that game when usually he's one of our most incisive finishers. Could easily have had a hat-trick on a good day for him, he was involved throughout the game and didn't go missing. Only flaw was the fact it didn't go in the back of the net for him. Sanchez finish was way worse, open goal and delayed the shot.
Yeah feck off with that agenda shit. Bollocks was he better than Lukaku. Sick of this shit from people who refuse to criticise him.
Who was creating more, who was the one who looked more likely to score, who beat more players one v one?
Sure as hell wasn't the big donkey up front.
What a fecking joke.
Yeah, he was better than Pogba and Lingard, but they were fecking shit as well.
Without Martial, we wouldn't have looked anywhere near scoring. Take Martial out and lets see how threatening we would look like with Sanchez behind Lukaku.
You just know some folks have been waiting for this moment. He was scoring almost every match and winning us games before Mourinho shunted him for Sanchez...United player of the month for 3 of 6 months this season yet he's shit.
Some of you lads need to lighten up.
Eh? He's been comfortably the best attacker in the team since he joined, that's not even up for debate. You just know some folks have been waiting for this moment. He was scoring almost every match and winning us games before Mourinho shunted him for Sanchez...
How is his replacement on his left (new shiny toy) doing?

Did our attack get better with him compared to our attack with Martial? No, got worse actuallyEh? He's been comfortably the best attacker in the team since he joined, that's not even up for debate.
This is the most basic way of looking at it possible, Martial was the worst attacker on the pitch against Spurs (on both sides). Looked barely interested when he came on against Huddersfield. Today was his first performance of late that I thought he looked decent and he still missed three chances that could have won us the game.Did our attack get better with him compared to our attack with Martial? No, got worse actually
Did our results get better with him compared to our results with Martial leading our attack? No, got worse actually.
Martial was our best attacker before Sanchez joined and our results were better. Sanchez has been good but he certainly has not improved us so far.
He missed chances. I can accept that - particularly from a player that has saved our skin in recent weeks through brilliant finishing.
I watched Raheem Sterling miss an open goal the other week. It didn't cost City. This is because City create lots of chances that can allow for misses. Sterling, historically sketchy in front of goal, could afford to get away with it.
I know where I lay the blame, and it isn't in a typically reactionary player thread like Martial's - a player who has been one of our best players this season.
You mean the game City drew 1-1?
Shit, you're right. I'll take that one on the chin.
My wider point still has merit, mind. City players can get away with poor finishing like that and still win games because they create so much more.
I'm not going to kneejerk my way through a player thread of a very good player just because they missed some chances. It happens.
They were massive chances and his overall play was not very good either.
If people can defend him after the finishing today, they can defend him after anything. Haven't seen a more overrated player on the caf.
And massive changes get missed. You create more. Sanchez missed an equally great chance but I'm not going to get on his back because I know how good he is.
What basic way? I'm just stating facts that are true and you are struggling with them because they don't seem to suit your opinion. This is the most basic way of looking at it possible, Martial was the worst attacker on the pitch against Spurs (on both sides). Yes, but he only missed one and his overall play was better... this isn't just one chance Martial missed whilst having a good game overall. He was just not good today.
