He completed 4 take-ons on Wednesday. His average before then was less than one.
 
Rumours today that Real and Barca are after him which isnt surprising given his potential. I dont put much stock in these tabloids, but we need to keep this kid at all costs and develop him. Martial, Pogba, Bailly and De Gea can be the spine of our team for years to come, each world class, and throw in Shaw, Rashford, TFM, Pereira and we have an exciting generation - reminds me of us 04-06 period.
 
As you say, tabloid nonsense. The Sun on Sunday so no further analysis needed. They also base the report on the fact that United are 'considering selling' him. Yeah, sure we are.

Might as well sell the stadium while we are at it. We are struggling at the moment but Rean and whoever, can't just come in and pick our brightest talents.

It's not a rumour, like you said the ABU know that Utd are building for something big and they are trying their best to unsettle us and desperately hoping that either Real or Barca start to come after our best players, they successfully did it with Ronaldo but failed with Vidic and Evra.

According to ABU media Next week it will be Martial's new girl friend will not be happy that it is dark around 4pm, the shops close at 5pm in Manchester.

The guy and his agent said he had no plans to leave a few weeks ago. Pretty certain it just a rumour as you don't have any proof.

He doesn't strike me as someone who would take that move too early. I think he's only now really settling here on a personal level and is smart enough to realise a move to Madrid right now could hurt him with another period of adjustment and a fight to get into an insanely good attack.

He's ours for a while yet.

Do you reckon he would push to leave eventually though?
I'm not so sure. The premier league is the place to be right now. We just need to get back to fighting for titles and we should be able to keep most of our best players.

No idea. The modern game is unpredictable, it's just as likely he will have a slump at the same time we get a new manager that doesn't fancy him and he's moved on.
 
If he is to move, he should think long and hard about Madrid. If he thought the media circus around him at the time of his split was crazy, he'll be in for a rude awakening with the Spanish press. I don't know if he's just young or if he really has thin skin. Maybe even both.

There shouldn't even be a price we would sell him at. Should just be an automatic "feck off" reply and not for sale at any price. Can't afford to lose out on a talent like him

If he has a slump or isn't playing well the only way is down really no? We have the wages, agent fees, superstar players and manager thing down now. It just time to hopefully put it all together on the pitch. We are the biggest club in the richest league. I don't think many players will be desperate to leave that if we are successful.
 
So glad he's starting again today. Just what he needs after having a good game against West Ham. Hoping he can continue the good form, because when he's on it, there's not many that can live with him.

Coleman has shut him down pretty well today, though Pogba should have played a better ball into him on a couple of occasions where he would've been in. Got the assist though!
 
Still heavily involved despite being double marked. Not his best but looking to make things happen.
 
Quiet today. He clearly has to work his way back to being fully confident. And it's been a scrappy game in general to be fair. But that pass for the assist was absolutely perfect. Great stuff.
 
Excellent defensively today, maybe the best game he has had for us in that aspect. Really putting in a shift which he wasn't doing earlier in the season.
 
Impressed with his work rate tracking back. Exactly what you need in this type of games.
 
Didn't really come off for him today, but I thought he really looked up for it, and in Martial's case, that's a very important thing.
 
He defended well but was isolated in attack as Darmian offers nothing in that regard and Pogba was all over the place with his short passing today.
 
Good going back, but he did nothing going forward.

Holgate came on and we just retreated after that. Never saw him have a go at the kid once. What a wasted opportunity.
 
I thought he had a good game today, he didn't do an awful lot going forward but defensively he was very solid.
 
Zlatan and Pogba need to be better in getting him involved.

He wasn't at his best today but got an assist and worked hard and defended well. A mature performance in a scrappy game.. deserves to start again and I'm sure he will improve more.
 
Did lot of defensive work but he was isolated up front. No help from Darmian, no good passes from Pogba and ibrahimovic for him to use.

Brilliant vision for that assist tho.
 
Why is he taking corners though?

Also, the thing that stood out for me was his hold up play. Reminded me of Van Persie and Tevez - the way the defender could not get in front of him.
Zlatan can not do it. I'd like him to come in central sometimes with that ability.
 
Good shift from him. Didn't really come off for him going forward, but i guess he played a nice pass for the goal.

I still think he's our best player, and when he's firing our team will be okay.
