Not sure why some are expecting his form to significantly increase all of a sudden, it's clear his form is down to recent personal life over the last 6 months, everything happened literally as our season was ending, since then he has had a poor EURO's and start to the season with us, it's his personal life and I can understand it. I don't however know a solution, I think it has to come from him..

just play him into form, we dont have any decent winger available now so I think it's a must to start him

Quite honestly, the influence of his personal life is overstated while fatigue is underestimated in my opinion. He played the most games out of everybody on our squad bar de Gea and had to shoulder a huge amount of responsibility. Deschamps alluded to him being physically and mentally drained during the Euros, yet just being there, having to practice and not having real time off didn't help either (That's why I repeatedly said the Euros were a waste of time for him).
I'm curious to see how much time he'll get on Sunday and how he'll do after a little break.
Nothing is more important for him than rest. Instead of playing him into form, we have to ease him into this season. I'm confident that he'll find his form soon enough.
Personally, I think he also had some decent games prior to his injury anyways.
He needs to grow his hair. He'd look like a beast with dreadlocks or something.
We really need Mourinho to get him back to his proper level. Rashford is okay on the left but in form martial is far better.

Excellent finish and looked confident in general, his reaction to the goal was one of relief and almost thanks to the fans.
Hopefully this means he is back into the team and form, on form he is quite easily our most dagerous forward. People easily forgot how good he can be.

4-3-3 against Liverpool. With Martial, Zlatan and Rashford as the front three.
Martial left, Rashford/Mkhitaryan right, Mata/Mkhi #10 and Zlatan up front. Those should be our main options.
I'm just so glad that Jose played him on the left right from the outset and not on the right. He is world class on the left and looks utterly uncomfortable as the right forward. With all the hype around Pogba and Rashford you sometimes forget he was our best outfield player last season.
Martial would be a big upgrade on Lingrad but a part of me just wants to see him in CF
Worst thing is, I don't think he will start vs Liverpool. Jose will start Lingard because he runs round a lot.

Hope he start vs the dippers. Not to have a dig at Lingaard, but he runs to much hot and cold and is simply nowhere near Martials level when hes on form.
True that, was bizarre.. surely the guy who has got the goal and has got momentum on his side, you'd play it to him and get him on the ball as much as possible.
Can't wait for him to catch some form. Rashford is miles better on the right, then the left as well
