I’ve got
Muffy - Original villager. Don’t care for her.
Sheldon - Original villager. Jock. Tried many times to be a dick to him and still he stays.
Sherb - Absolute boy.
Beardo - Cool guy.
Puddles - Tolerable but wouldn’t miss.
Hippeaux - Basically Beardo.
Buck - Only just moved in. Not sure yet.
Had Deena just move out which was delightful.
I've got 5 villagers so far:
Biff- Hippo constantly talking about the gym. I got a punch bag as a gift so gave it to him
Pashmina- goat who is beginning to get on my nerves as she is constantly singing. Shut up
Sylvanna- Chipmunk/ squirrel type creature who seems quite sweet
Walker- dog who is fairly meh so far
Annabelle- anteater that's rather high pitched and excitable and hurts my ears
I've got my campsite being built so I can start networking to get some more villagers hopefully
I've had my first encounter with the turnip lady and got 50 turnips which are currently in my pocket however other people seem to be planting them/ putting them in their house, can they stay in my pocket?
Keep trying to get one of the cool mystery islands you can supposedly get eg shark or bamboo but keep getting the same shitty ones.
I've got a bridge awaiting donations so it can be built, I've already put in 40k no doubt I'll end up doing the rest so it actually gets built can you make the others do any sort of significant donation?

I love Sherb! He’s awesome! I don’t mind Biff either to be honest. I hated Katt though, constantly singing! She left thankfully. Good riddance.
I ignored Hippeux until he left because I hated looking at him.
Sherb is fecking great though, yeah.

Possible scandal on my island Sylvanna the chipmunk was found in Biff the hippos house when I went in there just now both looked a bit shifty and he was following her round the whole time I was there

A couple of days ago I went on my first flight and invited Sylvana to live on my island, and then yesterday I invited some other guy, a tall lion or something to come. When do they arrive? I have to get my island to a certain point before they show up or something?
They should be there the next day if you've any available plot for them in the village.

Haven’t played this game for weeks. My mates won’t stop banging on about it so I want to get involved again, but how far behind will you be if you don’t play it for a period of time?

Apart from missing event specific items/recipes, you're all good.
The items can probably be gotten again next year anyway.

Yeah that's why I'm in no rush. My island is still a shithole tbh but it keeps me playing. Only about an hour each day and slow progress.
My gf played it normal and is almost at the same stage as me despite getting it about a week after me.
Although she is playing about 6 hours a day and has become obsessed with the game.
The only thing stopping me deleting is I want to finish getting all the fossils and I need about 3 and now I want to get all the art.
I've just got the campsite, i know you can tap up the people there to try and get them to move to your island. If I dont fancy one so only speak to them once then leave them to it, will that then make them bad mouth my island, making it harder to attract potential visitors?
I got some creepy fuxking bunny thing in there with black eyes yesterday. I was straight out of there. Not having that shit on my island.

They won't be going online giving 1 star reviews if you don't ask them to move onto the island.
If your island is full they may suggest they replace one of your current residents but you can say no if you don't want to swap them .

That raccoon is indeed incredibly lazy and has just fleeced me again- he wants new residents, excellent so do I. Oh but i have to pay to build their housing plots thanks for that given I'm practically financing the new bridge all on my own as it wont get built otherwise due to the meagre donations from other residents!

Haven’t used a NMT for ages. I read somewhere that if you have construction on your island it stops you from getting a unique mystery one. I’ve basically always got construction on my island.
