Gaming Animal Crossing: New Horizons (Switch)

Sherb is the best, though I feel bad for letting him water everything. Haven't lifted a watering can since he arrived.
 
The museum is really cool. Didn’t think it was gonna be that impressive!
 
Finally managed to get to the bamboo island. I read somewhere that it's highly unlikely to get to an unique island if you've got some sort of construction under way at your island. The last two tickets I used were on non-construction days and I got to unique islands so it might just be something to it.

I've also moved my house to the top of hill on the far side of the island, naturally Tom Nook wanted a hefty sum for it as well, might just make the hill a huge bamboo groove.

You can upgrade it twice as far as I’ve done so far. I have 4 rows in my inventory now.

I feel like wearing a backpack should give you extra space.

Theres a "rescue" option on your phone which I have yet to need maybe it's to rescue you from him :lol:

I'm at the stage where I can visit people's islands if they have different trees to you is it acceptable to rob one? I robbed an orange tree from one of the nook islands and planted it on mine in case my residents wanted a change from peach but I'd feel wrong robbing one from a friends island

I specifically went to my friends islands to get different fruits. I now have peaches, apples, oranges and cherries growing on my island. I need bamboo and one other.

The Nook Islands are designed to be pillaged but you can't do the same to another user's island unless you're listed as one of their Best Friends. You can technically shake the fruit off if it's not protected but if you're on someone elses island anyway, you might as well just go to the shop and buy their native fruit there.
 
So those who’ve been playing this for a long while now, is it worth picking up at current price?

I just like that he's different to the little shits I currently have running about. Puddles, Deena and Sheldon are basically the same person.
 
Has anyone else tried fashioning a football stadium for their island using terraforming? I've slowly chiseled out a rough area and am in the process of ordering enough seats and extras to fill the gaps up. Also found this QR code tutorial for a pitch:



Haven't had a chance to try it yet because my phone is fecked and I'm waiting for a replacement.
 
Saw the goals for sale and did think of it but my nook miles need to go on other things at the min.

You can turn bamboo island into a tarantula island if you get there after 7PM.

Depending on which guide you follow to force tarantula spawns it can take about half an hour to set up the island but once you do you'll likely get a tarantula every minute or so.

I'd say so.

I went into this game completely blind and me and missus loved it so much I bought her her own copy so we could have our own islands.

Since release I'd say I've sunk at least 150 hours into and my gf even more.

It's more a life sim than a game.

Someone just sent me a video showing how to do online as I didnt realise you both need to be online to do it

I didnt realise you could dig a hole and plant a fruit and it would grow into a tree of that fruit.... I know you could dig up trees but didnt realise that I've been eating all my flipping pears that were gifted to me as couldn't think of a use for them !!!!
 
So how prevalent are shooting stars? I've looked up at the evening sky now and then ever since talking to Blathers' sister but so far I've seen nothing.

Also seen nothing but I’ve looked at the sky about three times.

Can see where my money goes on this. Just paid to move a villagers house one square to the left because it was off centre.
 
I posted it on reddit and making an absolute killing in tips right now.
