Got 6 millions selling turnips at 520 Bells this week, expanded my house to the fullest, paid all my loans, built 3 bridges and an incline, things finally looking to be going better for me in my island.
Meanwhile my island basically looks the same as it started bar some new houses. I put a chair on a rock today.
Most bells I’ve had at one time are about 65,000. Still got 340,000 to pay off the current loan.
I have never seen turnips sell for beyond 116 on my Island :/
I’ve had a max of around 146, but this week has been awful, I’ve not had anything higher than 98 this week! I seriously a better price comes tomorrow to sell.

My net game is too weak, keep getting my ass handed to me by the tarantulas. I caught the first one I saw but after that nada.
You need to stop moving when they stand up, then resume walking, you'll need them for money.

So I finally decided to get this today. It’s been a nice relaxing play thus far. Currently trying to make up the 5K miles to pay off the first set of debts.

Yep. And one of the Nook islands you can visit is just tarantulas, apparently it's quite lucrative but I noped out of it immediately. They attack you so fast, can never time the net right to catch them.
They always chose to pop up suddenly when I'm in midsprint, the little bastards.
You don't have to time their runs, it's really easy to catch them, and it gets you 8k! I got 232k from terantula island in ~30 mins.
Actually if you are sprinting without holding the net they won't chase you
, but yeah it feels like that what happens 90% of the times I get one on my island.It's a totally different game
Caught 78 fish in a row the other day and messed up. Now it won’t tell me how many I’ve got but I think I’ve done 65 in a row now. 35 to go.
Gotta get a Switch this summer I see.

Finally did 100 fish in a row. Made a solid amount of money catching all those fish too. Also visited my sisters island in Australia so I caught some shit I wouldn’t find on my island.
Got about 200k ready for that turnip lady tomorrow.

I finally managed to get to an island with a different fruit (pear).

Ah my hippo is gym obsessed hes always creeping round the island he was by my tent earlier. Not seen my goat since the start! My boyfriend is watching and told me to hit it with my axe...
That raccoon is sly isnt he he invites me to the island, welcomes me etc then let's slip I owe him lots of money for the whole thing, nice he was up front
Just played for a long time my museum is under construction and I've paid off my air miles I initially owed him he's now charging me huge whack for a house! Now I want my other residents to build houses as the tents are unsightly!
Fishing is annoying also however enjoying the game so far
I started with Muffy and Sheldon. Sheldon is annoying as feck and keeps calling me Cardio. I’ve since got Puddles and Deena who is boring as shit.
Sherb though is my man. Guy gave me a cool lamp when he got here, he waters my plants and he just reads books and leaves me alone.

Just caught 26 tarantulas. Blathers gets one and should make 200k from the rest.
