Play him wherever the feck he wants.
Dominant.

I don't know about you but when I tuned on to Revista de la Liga and saw this, the euphoria was unbelievable. That was when the news broke that we were signing Di Maria.
I think it's a combination of us being desperate for a quality signing, Di Maria is arguably their best player behind Ronnie, and Di Maria is better than Sanchez and Rodriquez (in his prime too). Real Madrid always get good prices for their players too.how does di maria, who wants to leave and is surplus to requirements cost more than sanchez and rodriguez?
Same price as James, and he's a better player than Sanchez.how does di maria, who wants to leave and is surplus to requirements cost more than sanchez and rodriguez?

It'd be easy as feck to fit him in our midfield. We have none at the minute.
I hope he is better than Nani or this place will be in meltdown!
I remember when I was 17 and thought 25 is grandfather territory... Now that I am approaching it, I know this is not the case.
On quality it would obviously. But Herrera and Mata are both attacking players and the rest of our midfield options aren't up to scratch (bar Carrick who is injured). It would be unbalanced.
It would be smarter to sign a defensive midfielder to partner Herrera and play Di Maria out wide. We'd look a much better team that way, in my opinion.
Have you? How so?Now that Di Maria is gone, we actually made a profit in this transfer window.
And Milan are broke as feck so will take whatever they can get. Also, since when is signing someone at 26 a concern?
Unless I have missed something, he is not a United player yet.Can this thread be moved to the main forum?

Who else did you sell bar him and morata? Wouldn't you still be a tiny bit down, as di Maria was basically the same price as James and morata a similar price to kroos? You still have keylor navas that you bought. Now that Di Maria is gone, we actually made a profit in this transfer window.
Forgot about that.
The 63m doesn't include performance add ons, which is apparently win the premier league for 5m and 2 champions league titles for another 5m.Hasn't it been confirmed that the 63m fee includes the add-ons. It's a 50m fee.

Oh, Diego Lopez. Wasn't he the same as navas though? So more like break even unless it's just something marginal.
Yeah, if we did manage to sign a top quality DM surely we could have this line-up? Would be a strong system and make the most out of the players we have.
DDG
Rafael Jones Rojo Shaw
Carvalho
Herrera DiMaria
Mata
RvP Rooney

He was much better at real than Sanchez was at barca and actually vital to their success unlike the latter. He's right now far better than rodrigez.how does di maria, who wants to leave and is surplus to requirements cost more than sanchez and rodriguez?
Even more sweet as I despise Tottenham
I don't think he would move there to be honest.Liverpool could have use the Suarez money and buy Di Maria and make their squad more complete upfront. However, they chosen to use the money to buy lots of fringe players just to fill up the squad so they will have 'depth in squad'.
Doubt he'd have gone there. They won't attract elite level players till they prove themselves more. Obviously we won't either if we continue slipping. Less likely, if we add players of this class.Liverpool could have use the Suarez money and buy Di Maria and make their squad more complete upfront. Maybe the journalist who tweeted it confused the two but it would be weird indeed. Think it's probably the other way around, though others have said how unlikely it is that the full add ons will actually be paid, so it could be true. Why on earth would they agree to the "2" champions league wins part? Why not make it 2 league wins?
It'd take super mad optimism to see us winning the champions league twice in his say 4-5 year contract! We're not even bloody in it for the first year!
