Not too bad then atleast he will not be travelling half way across the globe for a game. Ready to tear QPR a new one.
Hopefully he plays against burnley. Need a win there to kick start our season and go on a run of a few wins

Wish we would of got Garay as well and made it 3 argies in this summer.

That Jackson fella is the worst journo around, the amount of stuff he gets wrong is absurd. He just prints whatever shit he likes.

While there are no plans yet for Di María to take a medical or even fly to Manchester on Monday, this may change depending on how talks progress. United hope that the deadline of noon on Friday to register Di María for Saturday’s trip to Burnley can be easily achieved.

God Jackson is a disgrace. The Guardian is such a great paper aside from his shite.

Jackson is a twat but is that Instagram photo for real?

Reputable photographer for Man utd. Clearly contradicts what Jackson said.

Aye. Honestly though, Sid Lowe, Honingstein, Jonathan Wilson etc. All fantastic journalists at the Guardian. However, Jackson is Daily Star/Mail tier of awfulness.

You can't blame him as more stories=more clicks=more money.

The Guardian are above that or at least should be. I'd expect it from the Mail. However The Guardian is a fantastic paper.

Will there be any work permit issues like with Rojo?
No. Di Maria is a regular starter for Argentina and is a full international. Rojo is not as he had limited amounts of appearances for Argentina. Di Maria's permit will be much quicker to get.

Journalists have really fallen into the gutter, which when you think about it isn't so surprising given that they are all in intense competition with another for clicks and eyeballs - they are incentivized to be more sensational in the information they publish. And that's just normal journos - and not some of the anonymous Twitter clowns that have emerged in recent months.

Daniel Taylor is good for The Grauniad as well. Problem is, he had a huge boner for Mancini. Really unbearable love for that moron.

Most definitely. But these journos are individualistic in their objectives, more views=more money. Although Jackson does spout nonsense sometimes-you can't argue about him being unreputable. He has got a fair few stories right.

Needs to bulk up.

No really! He absolutely has to bulk up. I've got bigger biceps than that and I haven't been to the gym in six months!

That is a Benfica shirt, this is 4-5 years old. He would of put more muscles in Real Marid as their conditioning is world class(just look at Bale). Although, they still do call him Noodle for a reason!

More muscle=less agility. I think he is just fine like he is.

Yeah, but doesn't that mean he'll be easy to knock off the ball too?
Atletico is a very physical team and he does well enough against them.

Feck that bulking up, it has ruined quite a few creative dribblers.

Easily, I'd probably put him at 7th, 6th at a push.

Not sure if he would make 7th, top 10 for me are usually:
Messi, Ronaldo, Ibra, Iniesta, Suarez, Toure, Neuyer, Robben, Lahm, Aguero.... but perhaps Di maria can displace Lahm or Robben on that list.

I don't see what Aguero has done in the game that Di Maria hasn't tbh, so I would say if he could displace Robben & Lahm (who for me he most certainly couldn't EDIT: Lahm that is) he can definitely displace Aguero

I think you are right, he will displace Aguero and make the top 10...he is that good.
