It's not totally illogical. If we work on the presumption that there is a finite pot of money available for players, it makes sense for a fan who is interested in who we sign to be interested in how much we spend.

Great player, maybe not a great signing though. Don't see where he fits in. I don't see how you get Mata, Di Maria, Rooney and RvP on the pitch all at once without playing 1 or 2 of them out of their best position.

Breaking news, Di maria has snubbed United after watching their recent performance. As I stated before and agreed with Glastonspurs, Di Maria will only slightly cover the major problem in the squad. I rather we first buy William Carvalho, Vidal(instead of Herrera) and Kovacic this summer. An experienced centerback like Garay should have also been bought when he was available.
I think he will be an inspirational signing IF we can sort out a good partner for Herrera. Our midfield is getting overrun at the moment.
I'm hoping Rojo and a returning Evans will shore up our defence and we still have Shaw and Rafael to come back in who are more defensively assured than Valencia and Young.
