It's an interesting parallel, you have Ange who swears by his approach which many criticise and to a large extent is understandable given recent results. Then you have Erik who has shifted his approach entirely, to resemble an identity he's not coached in his career, due to the players he has. The unsteady element of the team's performances is reflectively predicated on that decision to omit his preferential philosophy. I guess the question becomes which one can stand the test of time and which will prove to be justifiable.
This isn't to compare the credibility of one manager against the other but to assess the impact of how these distinct choices compound themselves over time.
