Some of his gaffs defy belief. The one today is so weird. What exactly made him spill the ball - it looked like a comfortable take under no pressure at all, the ball didn't bounce right in front of him to affect its trajectory.
Then after he spilled it he half-heartedly got to his feet in slow motion and crouched down waiting to see what happened next. Why isn't he straight back on his feet throwing his whole body on the ball to stop the Brighton player getting it.

Anybody still defending this guy being our no 1 keeper is delusional. From his first couple months he proved he wasn't up to the task.

His bad days are too bad for this level. Mistakes here and there are generally acceptable but not this. And he has had plenty of it sinche he joined with no signs of stopping.
I would rather a more reliable GK with worse ball playing ability. And lower peak performance.

Big mistake for the third, the second one he either needs to come out or stay on his line. He seemed indecisive this time although i think he shouldnt have come out at all. It was a good cross from Wellbeck that Onana likely couldnt reach if he came out.

Standing as a statue for their 2nd goal. Nice assist for their 3rd one. Can we sell him for 20 millions? I doubt it but it is mandatory to try at least.
I've defended him a lot but this might be my last straw with him. Killed off any chance we had to come back singlehandedly with their 3rd.

He's simply not very good. His performances are beginning to make resolving the GK situation as essential, rather than being able to have him as a placeholder.

The issue is, we have so much work that needs doing on the team and (apparently) so little money to do it with that I'm not sure we can feasibly look to replace him for at least another season. On top of that, his backup hasn't consistently shown he's good enough to step in, although I firmly believe Bayindir should get his chance in the coming games.

Onana is too fat to be goalkeeper at 15 stones or 95kg . Onana is overweight and not athletic to be a goalkeeper .
I'd rather play a life size Subbuteo keeper and let the fans behind the goal try controlling him.
Honestly I think Onana must have cost us over 20 goals since joining on his own. He can be brilliant at times, but no top club can get anywhere with someone like him.
Amorim should make him do the post match interview. Team mates probably feel like all of us.

On the second goal, he's just ball watching.
Some of the defence of this keeper surprises me. Last week people were calling standard saves exceptional etc. He is far from an exceptional keeper. He's simply error prone and average. A terrible buy and needs improving.
He made sure that we will have no chance of coming back into the game. Absolute shit, you can not have a keeper who keeps giving goals away. He cost us at Wolves along with Bruno and now here again. I also think he should have punched the ball for the second goal. It was way too close to him. But he looks unathletic and slow and always prone to errors. Another position we need to improve next season.
Mad how we signed a goalkeeper for his feet rather than his hands. His handling is shocking. He doesn't look comfortable in his own box. Doesn't come from crosses, isn't a particularly good shot stopper, and he makes lots of mistakes. On top of that, his supposed good skills with his feet don't really resort to anything other than kicking the ball long to nobody. He's not the right fit for us.
