I'd be happy if we signed him, he'd solve one of our two midfield issues. The other issue being a holding midfielder.
Can't say I know much about him, so not getting excited so far. Underwhelming youtube vids. But a midfielder and seems he did well against us. Young as well so why not, I'm sure our guys know what they are doing.

Well he is always starting low bid and considering that it hasn't even been a week since we made our first bid (if we really did) we are probably still in the 12M - 25M bid range. After a week or two he will up his bid until someone tells him that the transfer window is closed.

Just to clarify, I'm not against signing the player, just saying that only bidding £30mil for Fabregas and then apparently being willing to spend more on this inferior product seems a bit daft.
I doubt we'll be able to get this deal done this window. I reckon it's more to do with the time of the move and the fact he's clearly second, third or fourth choice. Too little too late.

Nah they were magnificent. Simply too good for us. We just couldn't handle them. Munain and Herrera in particular looked brilliant (I think). It's true that I was more in awe of the teams performance but that's because as a team they so comprehensively outplayed us.
