Ander Herrera is a Manchester United Player!

Javi Martinez wouldn't be going to the WC if Bayern hadn't signed him. And even then he only gets in as a back up CB.

Two seasons at United will get Herrera into the squad for the Euros.

He'll probably be in sooner, besides not getting into that Spanish midfield is no shame.

Man United's whole midfield created 62 chances last season, while Herrera created 54, just 8 less.

He'll be player deeper for us than he did for Bilbao.

How long can it possibly take to be shown around Carrington? get a move on lads.

It's called the AON Training Complex and if they're paying £15m a year it's probably fecking complex, so he could be there a while

Maybe he's at City's Carrington and this is all some kind of sick joke :wenger:

Been a bit of a mix up.

Woodwood: "Wait wait!... i thought your first name was Hector?"

Herrera: "No..."

Woodwood: "feck..."

"...and here's the second wine cellar. Funny story, actually; Sir Alex locked himself in here for six months when we first installed it. We had to fill the room with tear gas to get him out. This next room is called The Forbidden Room - no one is allowed in there."
"Why does it have a sign on it that says 'David Moy-'"
"JUST KEEP WALKING."

as far as i know bayern gave martinez the money to buy out his contract, they didnt make him then pay it back out of his wages.

By doing they had to pay to taxes and financed it by lowering Martinez contract.

I wouldn't be surprised if AS are right and we delay it til Friday.

Friday is the only day this week there aren't any World Cup games. United may not want coverage of Herrera's signing to have to compete for airtime against the World Cup.

It always seems to me that we announce our business since Woodward took over in the morning at 9am. So, I'm guessing we'll confirm tomorrow morning.

Presumably people are outside Carrington so will see / have seen him leave. At that point, the images will be everywhere and the club will announce it.

If the medical is done already, wonder what he's been doing for the last six hours.

Doesn't the NYSE close at 9 UK time? If so does he have to be announced before then or can he still be announced after?

generally announced once it is closed.... though I'm not sure whether that is a hard and fast rule that they must do it outside of NYSE hours

He could have found Fergie's drinks cabinet, causing the delay while they brew more coffee

Or the bar/lounge door to door with the dressing room (SAF was probably already there when they entered in the tour). Drinking now, announcement tomorrow.

How long until Moyes claims credit for this?

Moysie will be getting super bitter as he sits at home.

Easy start fixtures wise
Fabregas was available
Looks like we're getting Herrera who he couldn't get.

Poor Moysie

will be a fantastic signing for us, so pleased we have gone for him over Fabregas (if that was ever an option), and sounds like a player that is desperate to actually join united, quite refreshing to see.

The question now is who do we get to play alongside him, Schweinsteiger would be my first choice, but could see us waiting until January for Strootman, and getting Carrick to do the job until then.

Carrington is closed off. Only time photo could be taken would be of him arriving there and leaving, depending on how he got there and which entrance (if there are two, I've only ever seen James Cooper outside the one)

Didn't Moyes sneak out the back when he left for the last time? Sure i read it somewhere

NYSE has no relevance to a player announcement.

NYSE is always relevant when a company makes an announcement of this kind. Most important announcements with financial implications are made before trading opens or after it closes.

Is that relevant to signings? Fellaini was signed outside of NYSE opening hours right?

No it is not relevant, somewhere the story got started that every signing we make has to be announced to the stock market before hand and that really is not the case. Signings and player sales are a normal part of running a major football club.
