I bet we pay more than Chelsea did for Fabregas.
I bet he's here longer than fabregas is there.

So? Barca wanted to get rid, whereas Bilbao really don't need to get rid off any of their star players.I bet we pay more than Chelsea did for Fabregas.
Yeah, it's the wages (I can't imagine them being much higher than that) that'll still make this a sensible deal despite the high fee.If the Marca are to be believe the wages are either £57,000 a week or £46,0000 a week depending on if the 3m he's rumoured to get a year are pounds or euros
Kagawa could be very happy about this, finally someone who anticipates his movement and gives him the ball between the lines.
I should italicize to indicate sarcasm. Or something.
Back to Herrera, fantastic bit of news if true. Two more signings (a leftback and another CM) and we are good to go.
I can only cross two of my fingers at a time, don't know about you
I'm pretty sure every Bilbao players has a huge buy out clause since they have to rely heavily on youth for players due to their basque policy. So? Barca wanted to get rid, whereas Bilbao really don't need to get rid off any of their star players.
I hope the news is true, BBC reporting it does make me allot happier the rumours are true.
I think 5 more signings after herrari will do it, possibly do this over a 2 year period, like 2 fullbacks right and left, a CB, another CM and a wide player. Maybe we can do it over a 2 year period, overall 6 players we do need, we get herrari that is 5 more players we need. We won't get them all this summer, but possibly 2 summers
Well ofc they do, but that doesn't mean that they can't decide to sell if they want to get rid. And it's not just Bilbao, most Spanish players (if not all) have release clauses.I'm pretty sure every Bilbao players has a huge buy out clause since they have to rely heavily on youth for players due to their basque policy.
I bet we pay more than Chelsea did for Fabregas.
Despite reading the same thing 3 times... the point about Herrera being the start of a rebuild which stretches over a year or 2 is a good one. We all no we need to improve in 4 or 5 positions but to do it all in one go could have the adverse effect.I hope the news is true, BBC reporting it does make me allot happier the rumours are true.

A more defensively orientated midfielder beside him like Carvahlo. Not considering our midfielders, if you had to pick one midfielder to play besides Herrera, what qualities would you seek to have in his midfield partner? Or is he a midfielder who is comfortable with 3 in the middle?
Cloudy. With a chance of Spain.Key question. What's the weather like in Manchester today?
From what i gather Herrera is a good energetic box to box midfielder who really puts in a shift. Typical Spanish technique combined with a bit of grit. I imagine someone of his style could play along side any type of midfield partner as he is quite flexibleNot considering our midfielders, if you had to pick one midfielder to play besides Herrera, what qualities would you seek to have in his midfield partner? Damn, some good news at last? Liking the discreet way we've gone about this transfer if it goes through. Woody is learning, slowly.

Can someone tell us what this guy is like?

Herrera is a good start.
Get in!
What's great (apart from the obvious joy of signing a midfielder) is that the journo's didn't have a clue. Woke up this morning and the deal is done.
van Gaal runs a tight ship. And Herrera is perfect for us.
They are just re-reporting the original article for the chance that it hits.I hope the news is true, BBC reporting it does make me allot happier the rumours are true.
