The thing I love most about him is how direct he is. Early crosses, pass and move or whatever he does he doesn't hold the ball or body still.

He reminds them of the players that ruins their big nights during their playing career. Why do pundits continually make out that he's a cnut of a player?
Im genuinely baffled at this.
Fair play.Thought he was excellent today well played kid.
He is a proper united player. Totally deserves all the plaudits after many kept thinking that selling him is the best option.
He needs to stay at United. A big game player and he never hides.
Great choice of word because that is what it was. He loves to get stuck in and make it a scrap but he can add that silk when ever he feels like it. Proper battler that wouldn’t have gone a miss against players like Vieira,Keane, Ince and the likes.brawling midfield performance.
My liverpool supporting mate loves him to bits! Calls him “‘the cnut‘ i would love to have i my team“ says he is the only midfielder he would pick from our team.
Brilliant game. Fantastic performance hope he’s still here next season. He’s better than Matic and I rate him highly.
He played the Matic role pretty well in mid week but I do know what you mean. As you say let’s hope that pushes him toward the first 11 for next season....He can't play the Matic role that well. The question with Herrera is always does he do enough, but today he was really good.
He's given himself a real chance of being a regular starter next year I think. Before this last few games, I think he was definitely destined for squad role material only.
Same here ..Brilliant mentality and as big a heart. I feel ashamed I still havn't bought the #21 jersey. Love the guy!
I think he should replace Matic next season.
Matic is a good player, I agree. But I think that Herrera's qualities are his defensive ones. He played very well as the sole #6 in midweek and for most of last year. Against Liverpool away he won the ball back about 16 times or something like that and he also played there in the Europa League final. His mobility and energy are very useful to the team, so I think we'd be better with him holding and someone to control the game ahead of him with Pogba.Replace one of (if not the) best player(s) in the side?
Don't think so. They play completely different roles for a start.
Just make him the captain!
