One very good pass to Martial, but pretty useless otherwise. Not sure why he let Pogba's pass in the box go through his legs.

I used to love this lad, thought he was a good midfielder. But he's gone to shit for some reason. Mind you most of our players play like shit, so who knows what's going on.

Decent performance from him but the fact that he's in a poor run of form makes him seem worse than he actually is playing.
One thing's for sure, He rarely shows the energy of last season which was a big part of his game in breaking up play and marking players out of the game.

IMO he just needs a run of games to get back to full sharpness, especially in attack. I like what he is doing defensively, running around trying to get the ball off Everton players. Without him Everton will find it too easy to get through our midfield.

Started off with a terrible pass out of play but grew into the game and became one the dominant players towards the end of the first half and into the 2nd. Super through ball that Martial failed to control. Very good performance overall.
Played very well, gets a raw deal on here but put in a very good performance in my view. We'd have got overrun in midfield had he not played, Matic was poor and Pogba was good in parts.

Some really bad passing in the first half but much better overall in the 2nd half. Sometimes needs to put a foot on the ball instead of making a quick one touch pass. Good game overall, hope the more minutes he gets, the better he will become.

A bit harsh but yes he will look better when hes not relied on to be the one making creative passes. He can do it but seems to have lost his confidence with it this season and he's never really been consistent with it himself. So best for someone else to have that role.
Herrera was fine. Just a bit too safe. Maybe he is scared to make a mistake and get dropped.

He was our best player in the 1st half imo, won the ball, upped the tempo with his one touch passing and actually tried to play a dangerous pass from time to time. Fell off a bit in the 2nd half but to say that he was useless/shit is just plain wrong.
I think he'd be good again if we went with a stable midfield 3 for a while.
Made a big difference today to the system and balance of the team. Allowed the attacking players to cause havoc in the final third
More like Herrera of last year. Ran around, harassed, didn't give them time on the ball and almost played Martial through. However the opposition midfield for most of the game was Rooney and some 12 year old girl.
