very unlucky with the sending off. Thought he had another effective game although seemed to push up a bit more today. Really like his ability to turn sharply on the ball and play his way out of tight areas. We'll miss him against Swansea.

Played very well again. Screwed by a ref who had a shocker. Not much more to say.

He is one of our best players. He looks so dynamic with Pogba alongside him. A manager like LVG is the absolute poison for players of his ilk.

Cuntenburg giving him a second yellow for a clear slip with barely any contact was ludicrous, had another good game.

Played some of his best football under Van Gaal in that 8 position. Was very good in the midfield three with Carrick and Fellaini.

Don't know how Herrera got the first yellow card, considering the Burnley player's tackle on Shaw, just a moment before, was never booked.

Didn't just happen like that. He wouldn't get dropped for good performances. He was underwhelming in quite a few games under Van Gaal.

He was playing well and got dropped when Rooney went into midfield. Then his form was so so due to not playing regularly

There's been a game or two this season where he was lucky to stay on, but the second yellow today was ridiculous.

First one is definitely yellow. But, 2nd one wasn't even a foul. He slipped and the Burnley player made a meal of it. But, quelle surprise, twattenburg bought it

The first one the player made a meal of it too, he fouled him with his arse more or less.

Will be missed against Swansea. Is an absolutely fantastic player. Zlatan should have scored off the brillaint cross from Herrera. Expect another draw or loss. This team is going down the drain and good players like him are being wasted.

Bad luck or not, it was a yellow card offense.
Stupid to get sent off against Burnley with 80% possession.
He's played really dirty lately, was just a matter of time before he got sent off tbh.

That was Scholes-esque from him.

Eh? What has that got to do with anything? He didn't get sent off so it's not a talking point.
Because you're not disputing that the second yellow was a ridiculous decision, so the only way to take your original comment is that if you get booked then you've let the team down.

But the fact is that if he didn't get the silly yellow in the first half he wouldn't have been sent off.

Shit call from the ref I think. He slipped, how can you give a yellow for an accidental collision? Plus the first yellow, he instantly pulled out of the tackle and nothing happened. Hardly a yellow between them but Clattenburg couldn't wait to send him off. Anyway, sucks he is out for the next game, Carrick surely has to start that.

Clattenburg was laying down the law, as is his right as a (atrocious) official. Today, Herrera was his victim, just like Raphael and Vidic before him.

And Pogba also got booked, so you must think he also let the team down, along with any other player who has ever been or ever will be booked while playing for us.

If he got sent off he would have, but he didn't.
Do you even hear yourself? You don't blame Herrera for the second yellow, so why do you blame him for the first more than any other player that gets booked.

You're not only saying that any player that gets booked can have no complaints if a referee makes a nonsense decision and gives them a second, you're saying that player has let his team down if it happens.

Is he suspended for 1 or 2 games?

I see you already got answered, but i just want to add that straight red is 3 matches, while 2 yellow is 1 match ban.
Unless some rules changed recently.
