Well deserved. Our two hardest working players won player of the year awards, that tells you a lot about the team for both good and bad.
Weirdly not in Spain squad, which is a surprise considering Illaramendi and Aspas made it.
Who's in the squad? Better he gets a rest to be honest.
Shame he isn't in. Glad Kepa from Bilbao is. Good up and coming goalkeeper.
I think you have to credit Van Gaal for his improvement, had LVG not dropped Herrera for not playing according to his rules I don't think he would've had the season he did.

Very well deserved. Been our best player season and people want to upgrade him.

Those who claim he isn't a big game player sound more and more ridiculous each day.
His discipline today was absolutely AMAZING. I had my doubts about him being a holding player, but now I think he will be our holder next year and I am fine with that.
He seems to be the type of player that enjoys playing against the high press, not many in our team are comfortable to play against press. He also loves pressing as well. Must be the Spanish DNA.
Shades of the Hazard job on Ziyech in the 1st half. Totally shut him off. In the second half played more zealously.

Anybody saw what happened after the Mata tackle? I saw him lying on the ground with Ajax players around him and Rooney on the side, but couldnt see what happened there
