He spent half the season injured, he's had a few decent and a few not so decent cameos, he still has a lot to prove and I'm sure he'll get the chance to prove it
I reckon that with the right assurances, he'd sign one alright. Hope he gets a proper crack next season, I really do think he can be as good as Olise.
Why not groom him to ultimately replace Bruno? He has an eye for a pass, great close control to play in tight areas.

Nah if he didn’t have the involvement and impact that he did in the last two months I’d worry but as things stand, I don’t see any issue with his future. Of course he has prove himself next season. But from what I’ve seen his skillset is a good addition to the team based on the glimpses we’ve seen.
His contract has an option to 2026 - so essentially next season is make or break for him.

The problem is, how do we sell Antony? He's on a massive pay package; while Amad is relatively cheap and so easier to shift.
I think Antony will be loaned out - especially if we were to sign Olise or another.

Really? We struggled to make him play LB for 10 minutes at the end of a few games, he won't get a personality transplant. He needs to be loaned out and we get a fee it's the only way we get anything for him.
Loaning Antony out could be a very viable option this season - we can’t sell him for sizable amount and can’t allow an accounting loss on sale due to FFP restrictions either.
Amad is in a decent position, 1+1 year left on his contract, he should give United another season.

I feel he's been a promising player for years now. Since that game against Milan when he scored and he hasn't been able to break through the first team. Hopefully the last games gave something to think about to ten Hag or whoever's coming for next season.
He lacks pace but he's got great touch I think he could eventually be moved to midfield into a more creative role rather than a winger, something like Bernardo Silva. Anyway I think next season will be make or break for him, he'll be 22 and here for 4 years so if he hasn't break through by then he won't.

I am sure that the manager told murtough to get Antony at all costs. And as late into the summer as it was when they decided to get him, the total package had to go up tremendously.
I am sure at multiple stages of the negotiations the United transfer negotiation team had gone back to ETH and asked him "you sure about him?"
I think he'd be great against teams in a low block.
The move he put on that defender to create space for the shot isn't talked about enough. Quality finish.

He's actually a very clever player, probably cos he's small and not particularly quick.
To be honest 22 is still young. Dalot was a write off at that age a couple of years back. If he is underperforming his potential, all it will take is the right environment, right role and some luck.
Curious to see what happens with him this season. Don’t think ETH likes him very much as evidenced by the lack of playing time last season, though he has definitely made a case for himself with some of the late season performances. I reckon both Rashford and Garnacho will be locks, we don’t tend to rotate much and even then Antony is going to be ahead of him so was thinking at this stage a loan to ensure consistent first team football could be a decent idea… then again his contract is up soon and he may just prefer to move elsewhere if he’s not getting a chance here. It’s definitely going to be a crucial season for him.

He’ll be involved in all the friendlies, more so than a lot of the internationals, so I’d like to think that will set him up nicely going into the new season (as long as he doesn’t get injured)..

Could be a case where the manager just doesn't rate the player for his own reasons. I think the idea that Wilcox has been around the first team and training could have some influence in dictating how much game-time Diallo plays next season given his expiring contract situation.
Unless Wilcox has the power we have been led to believe I fully expect Erik to go with Antony over Amad next season same as last

We have such an imbalance of wingers. Rashford who is best on the left and Garnacho, Amad and Antony who are best on the right.
If true it probably means we're cooling on Olise.
ETH already said this at the end of the season so I doubt it, also Amad can play as a 10

Garnacho can cover both wings, Pellistri should get a chance on the right. Bruno will probably be shifted out to the wings to integrate Mount more centrally this season.
Apart from being a talented player, he seems to be loved by our younger players. He seems to be bestie with Kobbs, Garna, Kimbwala and Rasmus.
I hope he gets a fair crack of the whip with the extra Europa League games.
