Both picks are surreal considering the rules. Desailly played as a defensive midfielder as well for Chelsea, so that option will then be available and he was great doing so too. Part of the team of the decade for the first 10 years of EPL. Alonso being a Liverpool player is also very surprising as I think he could play in a final here.

Alonso is a personal favourite and I have a huge grudge against Alonso picked up late. Not all turn 2 picks are as good as Xabi! Underrated!

Would you (or anyone else below me) have picked him in your next two rounds? I got lucky leaving him as long as I did but it was a tough call between him or my 6th pick who I'm convinced won't last.

You are lucky Tissier lasted this long. Had it not for Cantona, I would have picked him earlier.
