ALL Ronaldo's future/comments/speculation

I think he now understands that a good team must have good defense as well. Pure attacking football won't win you any trophy.
Portugal is a good example of backboneless defense.

He was happy to sign only last year for five year - extending it to 2012. We won the league, champions league, he scored 42 goals, he won nearly every award and he should be recognised later in the year with more. There is nothing to be unhappy with

The new challenge talk, is ultimately bollocks. At United, their are always new challenges. We want to surpass liverpools record in the league. We want to win more European titles etc

What more could he want:confused:

I can't quite believe some of the comments in the match thread, posters laughing specifically at him, looking forward to seeing him crying and telling him to feck off. Just Madness.

I made a comment earlier in this thread that I don't think any United fan hates him, obviously I was wrong

Just like in 2006, when he was a cnut!!!!!11!!™ (and DEFINITELY leaving) because England are staggeringly pathetic and he closed an eye in cheeky fashion. Mind you, when Wayne Rooney stamped on someone's testicles, that was cheeky. Winking? Unacceptable. The dirty foreign smelly greasy slimey cnut!!!!!!111!!!™.

They're total fecking retards. Even if Ronaldo leaves, which I don't think he will, then when we look at the European Cup and the defended PL trophy, then those are down to Ronaldo.

We have "fans" who are total and complete idiots. I suspect some of them actually want him out so that they can start "who will get the number 7?" threads and "how we will spend our 120m?" threads - the transfer forum will be the happy haven of a bunch of seven year olds with semen in their underpants.

Euro 2008: Now Ronaldo can reveal his United plans

Cristiano Ronaldo has been given the chance to speak about his Manchester United future after Portugal were dumped out of Euro 2008.
Portugal lost 3-2 to Germany in their last-eight clash, Chelsea's Michael Ballack netting one of the winners' goals.

Ronaldo, at the centre of a tug of war between United and Spanish giants Real Madrid, has refused to discuss his future while Portugal were involved in Switzerland and Austria.

But after the defeat tonight, the forward is now free to say whether he wants to leave Old Trafford for Madrid.

The defeat ends Luiz Felipe Scolari's reign as Portugal manager, the Brazilian leaving to take over as manager at Stamford Bridge.

Right Greaseball...

... your country has been knocked out. Decision time. Please don't take another eternity. Just tell us either way, because quite frankly we don't care as much as we did, we are just finding this tiresome.

Can you show me direct quotes from a video or audio interview from Ronaldo saying he wants out and that he wants the new challenge of going to Spain?

Thanks in advance. Idiot.

Has he said anything yet, come on don't waste anymore time avoiding the issue.

I'm also highly amused at those morons slagging him off with how he played tonight. They'll be on here next season moaning when commentators question him in the 'big' games.

Hypocritical.

thank feck they're knocked out, lets see whether he continues to act like a twat

It's holiday time.

End of speculation will only come when the conditions are correct for Ronaldo.

if you don't care about it, then why would it affect you if he speaks today or in the last week of August?

I'd put all my money on him coming out and saying that he's going to wait until he comes back from his 3-week holiday, where he will spend some time considering the matter. I cannot really see him making a decision today, I think he has his mind set on moving to Madrid although is waiting on them to make a suitable move i.e. making an official bid. He's not going to come out and say that he definitely wants to leave, like one David Bentley, because that would clearly be burning bridges behind him.

I vaguely remember a post from a couple of days ago asking where is BahamaRed. I think I replied that we should not worry unless the Germans win and he is still missing. Low and behold, here he is.

I think he was responding to the post below, I could be wrong but I doubt it.

But to be fair to the guy, he has achieved everything with United and as an ambitious young man he is looking for a new challenge. And Real is an opportunity that is pretty hard to resist.

And as for United, if Real is willing to throw 70m, I say its a good deal because no one is worth that kind of money.

They've got the brains of pigeons, and they're largely a bunch of hormonal teenagers who are exploring their sexuality via a giant poster of CR with his shirt off.

im back from a shit, what was his decision

Good question. Have we signed him yet?

Most importantly, was it an albino shit? If so, pics? Video? Articles from Brazilian genital hygiene magazines?

The way they were talking about him, it was as if he isn't a United player. Totally disgraceful imo.

For once I agree with you.

- the transfer forum will be the happy haven of a bunch of seven year olds with semen in their underpants.

This sentence troubles me, are you suggesting me have a number of early-ejaculating 7 year olds in the transfer forum, or something altogether more sinister?

I think it is pretty clear.

I'd ban me if it related to fiddling.

I hope this helps.

PS. Have we signed him yet?

I don't expect the fact that Portugal are now out to speed this whole affair up too much. Nothing will happen until Ronaldo has gone on holiday, and he'll be off for a few weeks I expect.

Good. I thought you might be keeping a careful eye on things.

Yes. We signed Berbazema this evening. I think he's going to be a revelation. A bloke who had borrowed a pirate copy of Football Manager told me he played him upfront in a 451 formation, and he got 80 goals in his first season. However we all know video games are not totally realistic, so you'd actually expect he would get somewhere in the region of 95 goals next season. If he doesn't take penalties. Which he will.

Viva Berbazema.

Thanks -- wasn't sure -- just remembered he and we lost to Chelsea is that disaster of a final last year!

He also played in the 2005 final that we lost on penalties. He and Rooney were just unbelievable. Totally rampant, we would have won 4-0 if the goal was just a couple of inches bigger on each side.

Only 2006 and 2008 of his five years at United has he not played in the FA Cup final.

I've been desperate for us to win another FA Cup for Giggsy. Giggs is currently on 4. I want him to get another FA Cup to tie a bunch of ancient players with 5 wins. Giggs already is tied for the most final appearances, with 7 (Keane also had 7).

Plus, it would give us a bit of insurance - we've got 11 wins, but Arsenal have 10.

I think Idiot. if you read my posts properly you will realize you've missed the point.

I have said I think he will stay. I was talking about something else

I was talking about reasons why he'd want to, or might want too (given by others) - which incidentally I was dismissing because our team is quite young and has the potential to win the big trophies for years to come.

Some people talk about players needing new challenges etc.....

As a lawyer, you don't do your research very well :).....So I will make it as plain as day. He's going nowhere; unless Madrid make an obscene offer, but as I and a few others have pointed out - they cannot afford the transfer fee......

Spot on. Somehow, irrespective of how much we hope, it is obvious that this saga will run and run and run...

As a lawyer, I still think you're a waste of oxygen.

In my expert legal opinion.

Right, did he not say anything after the match then?

Does he not know millions of people are waiting for this decision. So what if his team just got knocked out, its back to club football now. Money or football?

Bet those english and spanish press will come out with these stories now

yes I want to leave now and join Real Madrid.
