ALL Ronaldo's future/comments/speculation

i think it just time to say enough is enough really. Ive had these feelings for a while now and you cant deny that these storys are projecting a negative picture on United. United will always be greater than Madrid, we are a football club, not a club of football players.

Its actually not done anything wrong to me. I think he could have probably quashed these rumors, but then to be fair to Ronaldo he has said twice he's staying at Manchester United next year (which Pogue pointed out to me earlier in this very thread)

Maybe these would have been more definitive if it was for the statements about announcement to be made in 2 to 3 weeks/days etc. But at the end of the day I don't think he's actually done anything wrong or said he wants to join Madrid.

Obviously things may change but your stance on the matter seems a little premature and a bit of a knee jerk reaction. Either that or you have a long standing grudge against him as you've mentioned the World Cup incident which every seems to have forgotten.

Speaking to UEFA.com, the in-demand winger stated that the last four years have seen him progress with both the Portuguese national side and Manchester United.

The Golden Shoe winner said, "On a personal level I've grown a lot as a player because at my club, just as with my country, I'm surrounded by great players and it's easier to become better when things are like this, because it's easier to enjoy your football. We're always learning."

While the debate over his future at Old Trafford rages on, he's more concerned with Portugal's prospects at Euro 2008 after their near-miss four years ago in Lisbon.

No Ill Feeling

Ronaldo, then, is eager to make amends for what happened against Greece in the ill-fated final, and deems himself ready for the challenge.

"I feel really good on a personal level," he continued. "I feel I can do something good at EURO 2008. I'm impatient for the competition to start so we can give our best and I think everything will go very well.

"The team's evolution has been very positive. I think the squad have grown a lot since EURO 2004, as we showed at the World Cup in 2006.

"We improved in the qualification matches, which owed much to the staff and the coach we have, who have a lot of experience and who have won a lot of things."

More To Come

With a Premiership and Champions League medal in his drawer already, the ex-Sporting man is unfazed by the challenges to come.

"I think I made history in the Portuguese Liga and I think I'm continuing to make history at a European and world level, but we can always improve," he said.

"I have a lot to learn but I have the pleasure of being in a group that helps me improve constantly, as a person and as a player. History creates itself over a number of years, not in a moment, but I think I'm on the right road."

This one seems valid. nowt on future though

How niaeve are you exactly?

Naive enough to think that I'd rather get rid than have him being paid ridiculously more than Rooney, Rio and Scholes. Why wouldn't they want to open their contracts if he was offered 50% more?

This "best player in the world" title made people lose perspective. We've won quite a bit without ever having "the best player in the world". If Ronaldo's wages unsettle the salary structure at the club (although the contract thing is just speculation) then we might be better off parting company.

Real Madrid claim the talks between the club and Kaka has progressed into the advanced state, and only to fail in the end for some reason.

"I would like to play for Real Madrid but only if it is true they are ready to pay what Manchester United ask of them."

Is what Ronaldo said.

I believe Kaka may have said the same and did stay at Milan. Mainly because they refused to name a price. Make of that what you will.

Talksport gets it's news from SSN.

Yeah. I know that. Just when I first tuned in, I got the impression there was more going on that there actually seems to be...

I hadn't been able to check on here for 4 hours, so had no idea what wasn't going on...:wenger:

Here's a more relaible report.........

Ronaldo: I'm Surrounded By Greatness

Cristiano Ronaldo believes that his annus mirabilis with Manchester United and Portugal has largely been down to the influence of his teammates...

Ronaldo is already a United legend. If he stays, it's gonna be another entertaining and quality season for United and the PL. If he goes, thank you and good luck.

He's not. Legends aren't just born on the pitch, 90% of the time thier off field personality comes into it. Ronaldos acted like a complete fecking prat for a while now.

Speculation. On speculation. On speculation.

Where exactly did you hear that Ronaldo is demanding 50% more than Rio, Rooney or Scholes?

Or is this just a figure plucked out of your arse to try and back up your crusade to prove that you were right all along and Ronaldo has always been a cnut?

If he had a dip in form and suddenly became shit then united would sell him, no?
So at it stands he is the best player in the world and as such his wages should reflect that.
If I was at a job (remember being a football is a job) and I suddenly excelled at my work, I would expect my employer to provide me with a wage that suitably reflects my work. Why else do employees get raises in this working field?

I understand that, which is why his treatment of the fans is more disappointing than his lack of "loyalty" to the club imo. As Roy Keane said after Stam was sold, clubs often treat players like meat, but I think the fans deserve better. Going back to the job analogy, Ronaldo is on a contract signed a year ago, and he should honour it before negotiating an improved one.

SkySports are still running the story and Virgin Radio have just run the story saying he's broken his silence and that he's decided he wants to move to Spain.

Is this Terra story legit do we know?

Load of BS. Why would such an exclusive be done with some no mark Brazilian web site?

you're twenty pages too late :)

fkn hell, I just realized we're on page 76

What is more interesting to me is the question why would he want to marry a whore? (if the reports are correct in regards to the ring that slut is wearing)

Yes, the quotes where REAL. Confirmed on Sky Sports.

I didnt get the idea of asking the person who allegedly interviewed him, why would he say that he made it all up?

As things stand, the Terra quotes were apparently given yesterday. No one reported it until today(even though you would imagine a story of this magnitude would get out pretty quickly), when someone posted it on here. Not too long after, it began to appear on other sites. They all began to report it with the line "according to Terra". Apparently since then someone from the Portugese FA has been on SSN saying there was no interview, and I think SSN have interviewed the reporter's gardeners nephew, who used to drive a bus. Or something.

Draw your own conclusions from that.

Looks like he's deffo off to Madrid - I honestly don't understand the allure of Madrid, I really don't. Ah well, thanks for the goals and theatrics Ronnie - hope you win f*ck all in Spain and realise it was the biggest mistake of your life

This bloke on Sky Sports who took the quotes sounds like he's lying through his teeth.

the guy from the paper just spoke to SSN, "We arent allowed to tell you when we were told this, the quotes arent from today"

prob a BS story

anyone watching SSN

its bullshit man, this guy is dodgy as feck

Yes its fecking ridiculous. Credit to the reporter for keeping on at him though, instead of just believing him. He would not even properly confirm when the quotes were taken.

"His wish is to play for Madrid, but it depends on negotiations between the 2 clubs"

:nervous:

But that's what people arguing he wants to stay are arguing. Otherwise, what else is the point in not coming out to quell the rumours?re is obviously made up, but that's not the issue here. People are justifying this as a tactic for getting a better contract, and I think it's wrong if this was the case. simple as.

I do think that Ronaldo is a cnut as a person, but that doesn't mean my argument are at least as valid as those of people who see him as the second coming.

The fact that I think he's a cnut has nothing to do

1. Terra says that they don't have a reporter at Switzerland

2. The guy says he's at Switzerland and can see players.

3. The guy says HE DIDN'T speak to Ronaldo today and he dug up old quotes and HE LIVES IN SPAIN

That's a new one for journalism.

Can't tell you my source.

Can't tell you when.

Can't tell you how.

Can't even tell you if.

Sorry.

Saw the SSN interview and there's no more to it than any other of the shit.

Pressed by SSN, in the end it amounted to nothing more than he liked to play for Real but wouldn't have a problem staying at United if the two clubs didn't do business.

Is it any different to I dream, but sometimes dreams don't come true. But still I dream. I dream.?

"His wish is to play for Madrid, but it depends on negotiations between the 2 clubs"

:nervous:

Which is the same thing from Terra which was made up.

This whole thing is a joke. Media making up stories idiots like us watching intensely.

prankster. Ronaldo wants to. Ronaldo would like to....bollocks

funny guy.
