Apparently Terra, the Brazilian paper, that made up these quotes are owned by a company, based in Madrid.

My Advice to emotional and suicidal caftards: Don't believe what you read. Only believe it unless you actually see Ronaldo giving an interview.

SSN are hoping to speak to the journalist that quoted Ronaldo, within the next hour.

We'll see if the quotes are actually true or not...

You're dead right. I know this thread is gonna end up being slated as "that" Ronaldo thread but there's some interesting observations and theories buried in here.

Trouble is, you've got to wade through a lot of shit to find them. The "I told you so" crew are beneath contempt.

The 'I told you so' brigade are essentially Number7 and Holyland red who made themselves look like idiots after the World Cup and now trying to save face.

For anyone who doesn't already know:

THESE QUOTES ARE BOLLOCKS!!

I think the quotes may well be bollocks but I'm starting to think he might well be on his way anyway.

Otherwise there would be nothing to stop him confirming that he's staying before the Euros to kill off all the media hype.

On the otherhand IF he is moving then the Portuguese FA would probably want him to keep it quiet until after the tournament and a deal would also be on hold til afterwards.

For me the signs seem to be pointing towards him moving. On the otherhand the delay could be while a new contract is sorted at Utd, initally I thought this was the case but I'd imagine that would be sorted by this stage.

SSN reporting that theyr'e going to speak to that "ONE reporter" who spoke to Ronaldo within the hour.

Watch this space.

Rupert Murdoch must be loving this. Ratings must be going through the roof. Maybe he has done a deal with Ronaldo to create all this hysteria.

Save face?

good luck with that...

Does it really matter if he's a cnut of a person when he scores 42 goals a season?

No, we were awarded a full goal for his header in the CL final even though he's a cnut. I do think though, that he'd have stood a better chance scoring his penalty if he wasn't the drama queen that he is but that's beside the point...

He's obviously a top top player, which helps us bias our way into thinking he can't do any wrong. However, enough is fecking enough whenthe player pisses in his fans' faces. I mean, look at the hysteria levels on here. Many others think it's only fair tactics on his part, trying to improve his current contract. I mean, the guy is only 12 months into his current one. If it is about that, I'd rather get rid (depending on the fee) than see him get an improved contract, only to ridicule the club and fans again next summer.

Thats rubbish. If Ronaldo really crossed the line as you claim, Fergie would ship him off in a minute.
maybe fergie does want to ship him to avoid this perennial saga? the smart thing to do, would be to force Ronaldo's hand into submitting a transfer request thus fore fitting any pay off rights, which would be huge considering he still has 4yrs left.

I'm inclined to believe the Portuguese guy who has been doing the documentary about him is probably right. I think he just can't decide.

What's to decide? He really things he's in the driving seat doesn't he. If we don't want to sell we won't, but if he says enough shit then we'll offload for as much as possible. Whatever happens, it's on our terms, not his.

His constant teasing in the media is pissing me off, ungrateful little shit.

1) He not a top top player. He's the best player in the world hands down and as such should be paid appropriately.

2) The hysteria is here all the time, no matter what. It was here after the barca draw away. It was here after the chelsea away loss and it was here after the city away loss and the pompey away draw.

For all these people talking about how Ronaldo not coming out in the press is disrespectful to Fergie: Do you honestly believe Ronaldo would talk to the club/Fergie via the press?

I guarantee that he will have been in contact with Fergie recently.

I'm inclined to believe the Portuguese guy who has been doing the documentary about him is probably right. I think he just can't decide.

Just shows how immature he is. Personally I have never thought Ronaldo's heart was here, its in his body language especially when he scores. And deep down the crowd knows it too. The 'Rooney' chant is elated, the 'Ronaldo' one muted sometimes.

Give it a rest m8, if your main issue is that he is a cnut then get over it... Not exactly football related is it?

I'm probably a bigger cnut then he is... well no, thats debatable. I used to be...

My boss is a cnut... a few of my mates are epic cnuts, my ex missus is an uber cnut. Thats how it is isn't it?

What planet are you from where cnuts don't exist? Sounds shite...

:wenger:You're speculating too much. Thats worse than muppetry.

if you ask me. we should sell him irrespective of if he wants to stay at the club or not.

What a very interesting theory, based as it is on a combination of silence and obvious linguistic constraints on his part, and conjecture mixed in with frenetic mis-quotations and misrepresentations on the part of the media.

You're not a lawyer by any chance? No, I thought not...

 he MUST be leaving then!

Shit been gone from here for 3 hours (had to do some work) and the place has exploded.
Every paper now out with the same story about this Brazilian fella. SSN says they are going to check it out.......but fk, doesn't look too good. Ah well, let me go and eat and when I get back I expect at least another 10 pages to have passed. Hard work this.

If he was a lawyer he would would been disbarred by now and probably sued by his clients and living in a garbage can.

How is he being immature?

IF he is having trouble with a decision then surely he's doing it in a sensible way by doing it privately? If he came out in the press and said he couldn't make his mind up, that's immature.

BBC Sports just said they'll interiew the SSN person who's going to speak with that Brazilian chap who spoke to Ronaldo.

'Pissing in the fans' face' :wenger:

Bit OTT don't you think?

If you scratch away all the hype and hysteria created by the media, he hasn't said much wrong. The only stupid thing he did was the 'decision in 2-3 days.' And anyway saying he wants to play in Madrid one day is hardly 'pissing in the fans face'.

A mature person would have kept his mouth shut till he had decided.

He's staying. I am sure of it. He is just a bit of a media whore and loves the attention. I reckon he has a bet with someone on the number of column inches he'll get this summer.

Fox Soccer Channel USA have just announced that in the next hour they will be talking to the BBC Journalist who will be interviewing the SSN journalist who will be speaking to the Brazilian Reporter to confirm if he spoke to Ronaldo.
