:wenger:You're speculating too much. Thats worse than muppetry.
speculatiing is worse than mupperty? hahahah your posting in the wrong thread to even say that ...muppet.

you dont like my stance about ronaldo, so be it. its a game of opinions but dont try belittle me for giving my standpoint. When it comes down to it, entertaining as he may be, his attitude doesnt fit the club profile. Madrid is far better suited for him but he'll learn the grass isnt greener there in time too.

BBC Sports just said they'll interiew the SSN person who's going to speak with that Brazilian chap who spoke to Ronaldo.

Watch this space
The Guardian have just come out saying they will interview the BBC reporter who's going to interview the SSN reporter who's trying to find the guy who made the first statement in brazil

Fox Soccer Channel USA have just announced that in the next hour they will be talking to the BBC Journalist who will be interviewing the SSN journalist who will be speaking to the Brazilian Reporter to confirm if he spoke to Ronaldo.

:lol::
No wonder stories get construed in the papers, its like chinese whispers!

1) He not a top top player. He's the best player in the world hands down and as such should be paid appropriately.

2) The hysteria is here all the time, no matter what. It was here after the barca draw away. It was here after the chelsea away loss and it was here after the city away loss and the pompey away draw.

He's 12 months into a contract which he has to respect. He wouldn't have accepted a pay cut if he had a dip in form, and there's no reason why we should have to negotiate a new deal every time a player scores a hat-trick.

What a very interesting theory, based as it is on a combination of silence and obvious linguistic constraints on his part, and conjecture mixed in with frenetic mis-quotations and misrepresentations on the part of the media.

You're not a lawyer by any chance? No, I thought not...

what are you babbling on about. your suggesting that its because of recent events i wouldnt want him in a red shirt. no its not. It goes too far back for that and started in the summer of 2006. Can you name me one other player that would have winded up a fellow team mate in such a manor so to get them sent off?

Its amazing how many want to sell Ronaldo now, irrespective of what Ronaldo wants. All based on "quotes" too. A tad premature me thinks.

absolutely spot on

A bird just shit on the window of my office...

Coincidence? I think not!

How niaeve are you exactly?

Im starting to hate SSN lately they used to be so good on providing solid info on transfers but the last few weeks they have sprouted the most unbeleivable shit the other day they have their little info bar saying Ancelloti is the new manager of Chelsea, feck it if Ronaldo wants to go he can you cant blame him hes here since he was 18 ffs, Im just pissed he signed a new deal in December mightnt see it through but thats football folks loyalty is non existent in this game and thats why respect must be given to players like Giggs and Scholes and this is going to kill me even the diver Gerrard.

I am announcing that I am considering talking to the Fox Sport journalist who will be speaking to the BBC ..., etc, etc, and when I am done I will post my interview here. On the other hand, its probably best if I spend my time working instead.

The only stupid thing he did was the 'decision in 2-3 days.'

mate, someone explained what ronaldo said to the portuguese press. iirc, he said that he was going to talk about this in 2 to 3 days. marca then ran a story with the sensationalist headline that ronaldo to make a decision in 2 to 3 days.

the way I see it, I want ronaldo to stay

The talk of it being against his will is nonsense. I do not believe he would be unhappy having to go back to place he loves.

But if the worst happened and we sold him, it'll be exciting to see who we would bring in but I doubt he's going anywhere.

i think it just time to say enough is enough really. Ive had these feelings for a while now and you cant deny that these storys are projecting a negative picture on United. United will always be greater than Madrid, we are a football club, not a club of football players.

For all these people talking about how Ronaldo not coming out in the press is disrespectful to Fergie: Do you honestly believe Ronaldo would talk to the club/Fergie via the press?

I guarantee that he will have been in contact with Fergie recently.

So he's two faced then? ;)

Some in the media are nwo tryign to get a new badwagon rolling. It seems to go by the name of the "United only won all their trophies because of Ronaldo and nwo he is leaving they will be shit".

Critics of ours here at home and fans of Real and Barca contacting talkSPORT expressing their joy.

Whether he stays or whether he goes we'll adapt, and shove it all right back down their throats.

'Pissing in the fans' face' :wenger:

Bit OTT don't you think?

If you scratch away all the hype and hysteria created by the media, he hasn't said much wrong. The only stupid thing he did was the 'decision in 2-3 days.' And anyway saying he wants to play in Madrid one day is hardly 'pissing in the fans face'.

Saying he'll be playing for United next season would have made this summer somewhat more quiet I'd think. That's all.

He'll stay, I do honestly believe a lot of SSN's news coverage of this is down to England not qualifying but hey whatever. It's no doubt Ronaldo would want to play for Real Madrid but we don't always get what we want right away. Leave it to the master I reckon.

He's staying. I am sure of it. He is just a bit of a media whore and loves the attention. I reckon he has a bet with someone on the number of column inches he'll get this summer.

In other words, a cnut. He's not evil, and his football is brilliant...but he's a cnut. I can't see why people argue about it.

Stop whining people. All the speculation doesn't change what will happen. If he stays, I don't give a feck about what happens this summer.

If he goes... Imagine if you wouldn't' get any warning? No speculation, just sudden "Ron signs for Real" with the shirt and everything.

How many here would jump of a cliff?

Ahhhh - we've flushed out another of Pogue's 'told-you-so's'!

Jump off a cliff? More how many would sign up for the website letsmurderronaldo.com

"I would like to play for Real Madrid but only if it is true they are ready to pay what Manchester United ask of them."

Is what Ronaldo said.

I believe Kaka may have said the same and did stay at Milan. Mainly because they refused to name a price. Make of that what you will.

Except he didn't even say that.

I don't think that there's one United supporter who WANTS to see him gone. It's more about suicidal tendencies in case he left vs. those who think the sun will still shine when Ronaldo is gone.

SSN still have the Breaking News banner running across the screen  It's been there for over an hour.

We must be a right mess lol, i compared the Real Madrid poster incident to him spitting in our [the club's as a whole] eye in public.

That goes without saying. I honestly believe we will see the best of Rooney as a destructive force if Ronaldo was to leave but I would prefer them both to still be here in tandem.

Can you imagine the press coverage the Portugal team are going to get at these Championships because of this.

If he had a dip in form and suddenly became shit then united would sell him, no?
So at it stands he is the best player in the world and as such his wages should reflect that.
If I was at a job (remember being a football is a job) and I suddenly excelled at my work, I would expect my employer to provide me with a wage that suitably reflects my work. Why else do employees get raises in this working field?

feck. I had talksport on leaving work and it sounded like Ronaldo had definetely asked for a transfer. But it's just more shit?
