You should do that, for people thinking that he is not a cnut of the highest order simply because he plays for United.
The funny thing is that those going to sleep in their Ronaldo shirts are the main victims of his current behaviour, yet they still maintain that the sun shines out of his arsehole.

I agree with Brophs... weird that he should break this news to an obscure Brazilian online news source... Plus the full article, from what I understand, states clearly that it's only if United want to sell and if Madrid pay him well, so it's not exactly a "this is what I want, plz come and get me!" plea, even if true.

His double whammy of "I'm staying" on the Final eve seemed very sincere to me, and I doubt he'd feck around for with us for fun... I still reckon it may be his piece of shit agent, or just that he loves attention... Who knows?

Hope Fergie stands strong over this.. even an unhappy Ronaldo would be far too ambitious to not play well for us.
 
He's made it pretty clear he doesn't want to stay. If he was so eager to stay at United, he would've come out and told the media he wants to stay for at least another season.

I'm sure we'll cope without him though... providing we sign the right players this summer.
 
If its that site I linked (terra.com) they have an article claiming Barca are going to offload Eto, Ronaldinho and Deco... make what you will of that.

But you can't just read the last page, can you - you've got to read four or five pages, because of the silly insistence on merged threads.

If there was a spearate thread called 'Brazillion website claims Ronaldo says....', a) everyone know there was a new development and b) everyone would know not to re-post the new development.

I cannot see Sir Alex wilting over this, he hasn't let any player or club ride rough-shed over him before, I doubt he's going to start now either.

Yes, he said he wanted to "stay" in an interview 5 minutes after we beat Chelsea.

Since then, the media have been all over him, claiming he will move to Madrid etc... Why has he not come out and said he wants to stay ?

Some bloke on SSN are saying that guy who apparently conducted the interview hasn't even spoken to Ronaldo as far as they know and is not even in Switzerland. This bloke is at the training camp now and is trying to arrange a meeting with Ronaldo in the next half hour to see if the quotes are true. How exciting.
 
For those that believe he should come out and say something NOW before the euro's, I say this to you: what could that possibly achieve for him on a monetary level if he did that. If portugal win the euro's the amount that he would be asking for in wages would be higher than it is now so it make sense for him to wait until the end of the tournament and then make a statement.

Do you want him to say it 3 or 4 times a day? I'm sure he has better things to do... its the media that are pissing me off, moreso than Ronnie.

Espescially SSN... they have turned into 'the sun' on tv this summer.

After all his speculation, hes staying hes not staying and all the bullshit, i have come to conclusion that ronaldo really is a cnut, he could have ended it all and stopped the fans and the club from worrying, but he has let it go on and keeps flirting with the idea of going to madrid, and you know what, feck him, manchester united do not need that, or want it... It would have been great if he wanted to stay but his heart clearly isnt solely with us, and for that reason i want him to leave, i want the negativity out of our club, and we can have clarity and a much larger bank account. As has been said before no one man is bigger than the club.

You are a great player ronnie, but now you will never be the legend you could have been and this decision is the biggest mistake you will ever have made.

I really hope he leaves this summer because his ego has been getting bigger and bigger, he is becoming a drama queen and consistently does things i dont like on the pitch but i turn a blind eye because he is a united player and brought us success, but we dont need it anymore, 100mill we can move on and improve as a team

even if he had....the media will keep asking because Real are pushing this....until Fergie and Gil sit down the player and talk this through about his new contract an all....this is not going away...

Indeed. It tickles me to see a bunch of United fans to be the first to get in the "I told you so", about one of our own players, and taken great joy in being vindicated, two years later. About an entirely separate incident. I'd say a few would have done a white wee if Ronaldo had been responsible for us winning nothing this year. Strange bunch.

Yes. That's the website. Someone posted the link to the actual story a couple of pages back (right before all this hysteria kicked off)

The Guardian calls it "respected" but I've never fecking heard of it and you're right about all that shite about those players leaving Barca.

For all we know, everyone's getting their knickers in a knot over the Brazilian equivalent of tribalfootball.
