I agree. I'm not living in denial anymore, I've accepted the fact that the CL final is looking more likely to be the last game he'll play for us. Am I disappointed? Yes. Am I saddened? Yes. I believe this lad could achieve so much more with our club. We're just putting together a team who I believe can dominate the Premiership and Europe for the next several years. If he doesn't want to be part of that, it's his decision and he'll have to live with it. It's a decision he might just come to regret later in life. No one player is bigger than the club and if he wants to go, let him go. Get 100 million for him and go out and get 3-4 world class players. I thank him for all he's done for us over the last 5 years but if it's time, then so be it.

It all stems from a silly little quote in a Brazilian newspaper. It means nothing.
No-one will bite. I said it earlier in the thread and no-one was willing to make a wager. For all the doom that there is in this thread, no-one is willing to make a bet that he will leave. He'll get a new contract after the euros and he'll be playing at wembley in the community shield. We saw the same thing happen with kaka when they won the CL and he signed a new contract soonafter.

Look at how each of those outlets are reporting it, "according to Terra" etc. They know nothing more than us. I think they know this may be a ruse, but aren't willing to be left behind.

When you hear headlines of 'I want to play for Madrid' rather than 'I want to remain at Man Utd', then it's understandable people get suspicious. Nothing has been confirmed but all we're saying is it's not looking good IMO.
Has it been proven that the quotes came directly from Ronaldo? Think it's fairly obvious to every United fan that at some stage he will go but please God let it be later rather than sooner.
