Behave, children.
Ronaldo is going nowhere this summer even if he wants to. Madrid pissed us off far too much, and he'll still be worth a bucketload a year from now anyway.
If he stomps his feet next summer then he might be off.
As of right now there is no actual evidence he is stomping his feet. It seems to me he's angling for a pay rise and has miscalculated our reaction a bit.
Right after the CL final he said he would "definitely" stay next year. It is the long term future he keeps making an arse of himself about.
That's all well and good jason but what about these.....

Cristiano Ronaldo appears to have made up his mind to leave Manchester United and fulfil his "dream" of joining Real Madrid. The Portugal international has informed his agent, Jorge Mendes, that he wants to play in Spain and his decision has already been outlined to Madrid, encouraging them to step up their attempts to prise him from Old Trafford.
Ronaldo is being offered a salary in the region of £150,000 a week after tax and has told his closest associates that the financial rewards, as well as the opportunity to play for a club of Madrid's prestige, are too good to turn down.
The double footballer of the year had stated on Saturday night that he would announce his decision "in two or three days" but journalists arriving at Portugal's Euro 2008 training base yesterday were informed that he would not speak to the media until Friday at the earliest. Instead, one of his associates briefed the Portuguese journalists that Ronaldo, as suspected, was hoping United would relent on their refusal to entertain the idea of negotiating a world-record transfer.
Relations between the two clubs have been severely strained and the latest developments will cause intense dismay to Sir Alex Ferguson, who has been increasingly vocal in his criticism of Madrid. There is also a growing sense of foreboding about Ronaldo's motives, specifically the manner in which he has repeatedly adapted his line in a string of media interviews.
Ferguson had wanted the player to hold a press conference, or, at the very least, put out a statement, committing himself to the club, but Ronaldo has made it clear he plans to do nothing of the kind."

The much-awaited "decision" Cristiano Ronaldo has promised on his Manchester United future is now unlikely to come before Friday – two days later than promised – but there was an increasing sense within the Portuguese national squad's training camp in Switzerland last night that he might be ready to declare a desire to leave Old Trafford for Real Madrid.
Ronaldo's current propensity for speaking only to Spanish journalists in Switzerland has been a growing source of resentment for the press entourage from his own country, now based 80 miles from Geneva, and his repeated failure to pledge his future to United has also been accompanied by some bizarre behaviour where Real are concerned.
When a Spanish journalist upstaged a press conference last week at the squad's base at Viseu, northern Portugal, by presenting the player with a Real team poster and telling him: "I am here to say one thing: 'We want you with us,'" an employee of the Portuguese Football Federation tried to intervene. Ronaldo waved away the official's protestations and insisted on receiving the poster. "It's a present for me. I want it," he said.
Ronaldo's pattern of behaviour is becoming more and more predictable: first he makes the right noises about United; then, when only Spanish reporters are listening, he hints that he is ready to be courted by Real. The winger's suggestion at the weekend that he would decide on his future in the the next "two to three days" was the firmest indication yet that there was actually something on which to make up his mind. "
These papers usually have their fingers on the plot and have sure wound me up. As I said in another post I'm not sure there's any way out of this for Ronnie other than staying out his contract. Anything else is going to be trouble.
